"Very disappointing stay. The heating in my room was not working, and the room was extremely cold. Staff told me the system was centrally controlled and could not be adjusted until the next day. They also had no portable heaters available and only offered an extra blanket. I had to sleep wearing my coat and jacket all night because I was freezing. After getting almost no sleep, I asked for a late checkout, but they only extended it until 1 PM. Overall, the lack of a solution and poor customer service made for a very uncomfortable stay."

"Hotel was well located to walk down 17 th and attend the Lilac festival. Gonzalo and Naufil were fantastic to deal with at the front desk. I apologize that I did get the names of the breakfast staff but both days were great and the room was well kept. Thanks to the cleaning staff for making our room comfortable and clean. Only issue was the king bed was extremely firm."

"(1) The hotel structure is elevated from street level, and in order to access the hotel entrance at the corner of 6 Av. SW and 8 St. SW or the side entrance next to parking garage entrance, one has to climb a couple of cement steps. These cement steps are light grey color, which is the same color as the pavements. However, these steps are not marked with a color strip at the edge of each step. On the early morning of June 4th, when my husband exited the entrance at the corner of 6 Av. SW and 8 St. SW, he fell at the steps on his face, bruised his right cheek, and broke the crowns of 3 front teeth, which required significant dental repairs upon returning home. (2) Hotel is situated immediately adjacent to rail tracks on 7 Av. SW for eastbound and westbound Red Line and Blue Line. There were ongoing train noises day and night, and it was difficult to get a full night sleep due to train noises in the early mornings and late nights. (3) All hotel lobby and security staff that we encountered were polite, courteous and helpful. (4) All Moxie’s restaurant employees were cheerful and delightful. We had meals in there 3 times, and foods and service were good."

"Stayed here one night as a mini staycation. Overall the stay was great. One less than favorable issue was that the pool was closed for a special event for most of the afternoon. Would have been nice to know during booking or ahead of time. The staff were very helpful and attentive. They upgraded my room and left a special note and chocolate covered strawberries in my room. The gym and pool area are lovely and well maintained. Look forward to staying here again in the future."
