“good experience”

except for the horrible weather. We had a good time.

closer to the harbour. closer to everywhere i want to go and I dont have to keep catching taxi.

Must see

rocks, aquarium, chinese garden, hot pot chinese eating experience, thai massage, markets and travel by monarail.

“very neat and tidy and chilled out!”

stayed there for my birthday,was impressed with how neat and tidy the hotel and rooms were!it had a good VIBE about it when you enter!The only thing i was really not impressed was the service.I felt staff was not as friendly and polite as i expected! when i checked in,the person checking me in didn't seem to care if i had any questions or if i needed anything else!another word,they weren't so helpful,which caused her to do another error with our free breakfast the next day.I showed her my invoice that it said FREE BREAKFAST INCLUDED!First she seem hesistant to say'yes,thats fine'but said'where does it say that,i don't think you do',but then she allowed it and told us where it is. The next day we went down to have breakfast and gave them our rm number and waited while the waitress is making a phone to ring reception to find out about our free breakfast,and it was the same reception girl that checked us in.waitress gets off phone told us reception said no,i was furious by then saying we were told its ok and they told us to come here!i even suggest to go and get the invoice to show them but said no,so waitress goes to back kitchen to get supervisor who comes out and ask what is the problem!!!I told her the same thing,she then turns around and said in a not polite way'next time bring your invoice down with you,but we will let you this time'!!!Oh my goodness i lost my appetite after standing there for more then 10mins waiting!very bad error made but did't fix situation properly!

everywhere walking distance,its pretty central!haymarket(chinatown),hydepark,botanical garden,darling harbour and many more!these places have lots to do and see!!if not walking then jump on a bus,boat,train or monorail!!!

“Great Price for Sydney”

After doing some research for a hotel in Sydney CBD I don’t think I could of found a better one for the price offered. The reception personnel were kind and pleasant to deal with and the room was a nice surprise it was large with a lot of room to move around as well as been clean. The only down side for me was hearing the traffic during the night but this is because I am a light sleeper and I was on the 4th floor, with this in mind next time I’m in Sydney I would stay here again but I would see if I could request a higher floor. Great job Vibe Sydney.

“Very nice VIBE and hotel”

The modern style of the hotel created a nice atmosphere and.... vibe. :) The room was small (tight squeeze for two people) but clean and comfortable. The main drawback was the lack of drawer space -- there was a mini closet but no dresser in our room. I would stay there again because of the location - very central. The hotel cafe had good food but the service was SLOW -- a common theme in the city.

Close to Hyde Park. shopping, trains and bus lines. Hip restaurants in Darlington - short walk away. Easy to walk down Elizabeth St to the harbor and Opera House.

“Oh Gosh, the worst bed ever!”

This hotel looked great and is very modern, it was pretty clean, but the bed was so uncomfortable that i just could never stay there again. The pillows are almost non existant and the room was cold. The location is also just a little too far from the main area of the Sydney CBD. (About 15 minutes walk). Customer service was average and the Iron was really really hopeless. So, if you have a choice, dont choose this place.

“Best Location in the CBD!”

The Vibe hotel is in an excellent location and it was so easy to catch a bus from there to the major sites! The condition of the room was great and it was super comfy! A GREAT value for the price!

Area recommendations

The Rocks by the harbor. Great area with wonderful little shops and cafes. Make sure to go on the weekend when the markets are up and running!

“Would go back to this one...”

On arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and spacious. Motel was central to everything we needed. Food and services could not be faulted. Would go back there anytime.

Area recommendations

We spent most of our time in the Darling Harbour area. We found good shopping, good food and great drinking places in the area. Transport in this area was abundant, monorail, tourist buses, taxi and bus. Motel was also within walking distance. Easy to get to the ferry terminal that connected us to the Rocks area of Sydney where you find the Opera house and the Harbour Bridge and markets.

“Good location”

Very good location. You can walk to the nearby train and bus station, shopping, restaurants. Very clean room and friendly staff. The bad thing is they charge for internet use for $12/hr. or $25/day.
