“Great central location”

We having only positive things to say about the Marque. Very central and accessible to transport. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and quiet (couldn't hear guests on either side which was a first for us). The room was a reasonable size and we thought the big king size bed was great. We had nice linen. The roof-top pool was good.

Good location to Central railroad station. City Bus service is easy to obtain from Hotel. Close to Chinatown. Good value for the money. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sydney.

“Totally satisfied”

Hotel location is excellent, close to everything. Caught a train from the airport, hotel just across the road from train station, what could be easier. On a busy intersection but we both slept through the treaffic noise. Some might like to request a room not facing the road. Didn't eat at the hotel, too many other choices close by . We had read in other reviews that the internet was costly but 3hrs free in a 24hr period was certainly ample for us and obtaining a password from reception for each period of 24 hrs was quick and easy. No complaints whatsoever.

“Great room at a great room”

On my arrival my room was ready and check-in was a breeze. Not a great view but a great room (but who stays in the room in Sydney). Super clean, with everything you need for a couple of days. Loved it and if I go back to Sydney I will definately stay there again. Can't beat the location close to central station, buses, and all type of restaurants.

“Ideal location”

When I go back to Sydney, The Marque Hotel will be on the top of my list for Hotels. Its central to every thing. Close to buses & Central Train Station. Taxis going past the hotel all the time. All the major attractions are all walking distance or just jump on the bus for a quick trip down the road which will take you to Darling Harbour, the casino, the Rocks & the Opera House. The staff are all very helpful & friendly and would assist you every possible way. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is traveling to Sydney.

“best value hotel I've had in years.”

Superb location for a tourist. The room was huge and clean. I booked this on a special deal and thought it was a great value. Even without the deal, it would have been a good value. It is walking distance to a number of attractions and just across the street from Central train station.

“A very comfortable hotel”

Don't let the worn out facade deceive you. The whole interior of this hotel has been recently refurbished to wonderful effect. My wife and I have stayed at The Marque before and after renovation. It is now much more airy and contemporary. Very nice indeed. The location is great too, just opposite from the Central Station and a straight walk to the the city centre
