“Good location - reasonable price”

Location is great being a couple blocks from the Museum train stop and located just off Hyde Park. (Note that there are lots of steps coming up from the Museum stop platforms, and didn't see an elevator. So heavy bags can be a bit of a challenge.) The hotel room and bath are relatively small, but clean and nice. Served my purposes perfectly. The price was reasonable especially for being right in the heart of Sydney.

Must see

the botanical garden and parks are terrific. they offer a spectacular view of the opera house and harbor bridge as well.

“Convenient Location”

Very convenient location, close to two train stations, sights and shopping. Staff was very helpful and the room well kept, although a bit small. What more do you need?

When to go

If you're from the tropics, don't go in winter, I almost froze to death.

Getting around

The transport system in Sydney is excellent. It is easy to get around by train, bus or ferry.

“Good value in the heart of Sydney”

Hotel is excellently placed near the shopping centre of Sydney and only minutes from Town Hall and Museum stations. Rooms are modern and bed was very comfortable. Only downside was the tiny bathroom and dificult to adjust heat controls on the shower. All in all good value for money.

“DONT stay at this dump!”

Most unreasonable staff, wierd key system, used to be the koala MOTEL and should still be 2 stars. Poor service, Poor cleaning, poor quality, noisy rooms, very small. Wanted to charge me $40/hr for overstaying past 10am even though i was inconvenienced by jackhammer noise that morning. A hostel is cleaner, safer, bigger and MUCH better service. Not worth it!! I've never stayed at a hostel but after my experience here I gave it a try for an additional night and it was outstanding compared to this dump. Try another hotel, not worth any price they charge.

“Terrible”

Room was extremely noisy and windows didn't shut properly to reduce traffic noise. Because it was New Year's Eve, there were no other rooms available. Reception staff refused to refund money but we still checked into another hotel. Will never book there again. Appalling.
