“Excellent”

We were quite enjoy to have a short stay. There have some suggestions: 1. Require large LCD TV 2. Require spare set of bath, and shampoo 3. Require the hooks or hangers in the bathroom

“Not Bad. Not Great.”

Room was clean and location was great, but overall hotel was nothing special - just a large, luxury hotel. Staff friendly. Minor annoyances - many of the room entry doors on the floor squeaked when opening or closing and the hotel fridge did not having any room for personal items.

Area recommendations
Yes, Very convenient to the sydney city and shopping, eating areas and 15 minutes walk to the Rocks and Sydney Harbor.

“Best hotel location fab executive rooms fantastic”

We have stayed in Sydney before but decided we would give the Hilton a go. Boy was that the right decision. We paid for an executive room. Room was lovely and clean and very modern. Bedroom and bathroom was amazing. Even though they were a bit smaller their setup and quality outweighed this minor issue. We had access to the executive lounge - breakfast and canapes were amazing. Coffee in the morning was a Nespresso machine - just what you want after a tough day sightseeing. Evening drinks served by the staff was amazing. Location was perfect just on George street - good access to shops - Westfields, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay a nice stroll away. Lobby to hotel lovely and airy - gave you a sense you were in a special place. Glass restaurant by Luke Mangan - amazing canapes and the Marble Bar - Fab. Would always stay at the Hilton in Sydney.

Perfect location for shopping - first class!!

“Ok but better buys out there”

As a busines traveler wifi connectivity is critical to me and at a sixth the price of the room, the final cost is much more than the advertised price. At the Marriott wifi is free and more convenient to the circular quay for public transport access.

Area recommendations
I'd focus on Darling Harbor for the activities and dinning or Circular Quay to be close the the Rocks and public ferries, trains and buses.

“Fabulous hotel”

The Hilton Hotel in Sydney was wonderful. Great central position, the staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent (and the flat white coffee that came with it!) and dinner in the restaurant superb. Definitely a hotel to return to.

Area recommendations
Staying central is so convenient as you can walk to everywhere. Having said that the public transport system in Sydney is excellent anyway as long as you stay near train/bus/monorail stops.
Events and shows
Before you go check out whats on at the theatres in Sydney. There is always something!
