“Reasonable value for money”
Motel is in a quiet location with heaps of natural fauna such as kangaroos and friendly parrots. Location of various rooms is a bit of a honey jumble with them located all over the place and 2 with numbers missing on the end which makes it difficult to find your allocated room. Generally comfortable with good appointments. Easy access to Canberra by road.

I would rate this hotel 2 stars. Definitely not going back and will not recommend anyone going there as well. Not worth the amount I paid for the room.

The resort is very much over rated. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. There were several issues with the resort: 1. The room had cobwebs that were not cleared before or during our stay, 2. The grouting in the bathroom floor and the wall tiles has come off in many places through which creepy-crawlies could come out, 3. Water leaked around the toilet bowl and that was disgusting, 4. The hotel which actually is a motel is suitable only for people with cars as the restaurant is located fairly far away and for anyone to walk to and back when it is raining, cold and dark will be uncomfortable. The rooms do not have micro-wave ovens to warm food. Persons with small children wouldn't even be able to warm milk. Not likely stay there again."
“It was ok”
We stayed there due to the bushland surrounds as we had my in-laws visiting from the UK and thought they would like it, this didnt disappoint as lots of kangaroos seen in the morning. It is more like a motel than a hotel. Room service menu quite limited and stone cold when it arrived at our room. We had pre-booked a porta-cot, this information wasnt passed on the hotel from the generating web-site, made an already long day longer when you have an over-tired baby. Rather large mouldy patch on the carpet (long standing) just near the bathroom, quite unappealing. Breakfast was ok, but the staff really had no idea, carpets a mess from old food stains.

initial impressions were good. it's reall well set out and has very nice aesthetics. However, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and some sort of cleaning liquid that hadn't been rinsed off in the shower. My sheets had holes in them, the pillows were stained and reception were not keen to help me with any inquires i had.
“Disappointing Level of Service”
I chose this hotel based on it's location and because I had been relatively happy with previous Rydges hotels that I had stayed at. However, the bathroom was very ordinary - there was mould in the grout in the shower, fittings falling off, and holes in the wall where other fittings had been removed. Also, when checking out early, there was no-one at the front desk (the foyer was locked) despite being informed that they offered 24-hour service. A good location and reasonable breakfast buffet, but disappointing otherwise.
