I loved the view having water views and the pool and the style of the property. I loved that we could bring our 2 small dogs with us. It was convenient to Mooloolaba and you could walk to the shopping district and beach.

Great dog friendly stay
Very friendly, comfortable stay with our friends & furbaby, who was made very welcome. Relaxing & lovely view from the deck. Close to cafes shops, etc & will definately stay again,

Great location close to shops and beach, villa 4 not really good for dogs too many stairs and no yard only small patio, shower didn’t have a soap holder, when your paying a high price for the accomodation you think they could put a soap holder in

Great location friendly staff
Everything was great. Staff were friendly. Only thing to note was a potential additional cleaning fee for dirty dishes. I think this is unfair to charge a cleaning on this. Regardless I cleaned all the cutlery and cups we used to avoid the charge.

No windows, no view & stay in a garage.
The title syas its all - 'the studio' is a converted garage with one window that is frosted and one that is glass bricks - both that look onto a pathway to the other units. While it has obviously had a recent renovation the lighting is very poor and there is not enough space for a person to walk either side of the double bed (yes, a double, not a queen). There are unpainted wood laminated boards covering up holes that 'flap around' when touched. The aircon unit in the bedroom has extremely bright lights on it - not necessarily a fault of the property, but makes for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Hi Barry, we clearly state this studio has no views, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, we have many people rebook the studio as we are told its much nicer than many motel rooms, being all new with a spa bath and at a budget price, if you want more space than you can always pay more and stay in the garden view or a waterfront villa. We had no choice to mention Double bed as this site does not have an option to put Double bed only Queen or single. We will look into the boards you mention, as for the extremely bright lights on the air conditioner, this is the first time this has been mentioned. All Panasonic air cons have this blue light. Good location. Perfect for pets!
Excellent views, fabulous pool. The perfect place to go with a small pet. Place was very clean except for the fans. The only improvements we would suggest would be to update the couch and lounge chairs - uncomfortable and bit stained. The aircon upstairs does not work too well.

Pet friendly hotel close to the beach and Coles
We enjoyed our stay here and loved being able to have our dog with us however I feel the booking process could be improved. we were hit with extra fees for having our dog stay with us that were not easily found or pointed out when originally booked. Other than the extra fees; Our stay was very pleasant.

Nice place with a good location
Nice place with a good location. Had a nice pool overlooking the river. Was very close to the beach, shops and Sea Life World. You need to be able to make a call. They don’t seem to man the place very much. When I got there I had to call the number on the door and wait a few minutes for someone to call me back. Then they directed me to the room which was unlocked and the key left on the counter. This didn’t help when I was checking out and needed to leave my bags with them so I could go out for the day before moving on. I had to leave them in the outside toilet.

Hi Mikey, we are compared to a lot of resorts in the area and as we are just a small business we occasionally, have a key left for guests, that arrive late, most are happy to check in and we catch up with them the next day. We did say you could stay in the room longer than the 10 am checkout, but you decided to leave your bags in the storeroom. Sorry if we didn't suit your needs. Regards Saltwater Villas

We stayed in the studio unit which suited our needs as we were only there for 1 night. Position was good with easy walking distance too food and beach access. Room was clean and comfortable equivalent to most motel accommodation of that rate.

Exactly how I expected it to be. I went there for the purpose of relaxing and not needing or wanting to leave. There was a pool and great views. If I needed to go out, everything was just around the block.

The studio apartment is not suitable for most people.TOO small, toilet next to eating area, no windows.bed not very comfortable. Rats in the ceiling?

Hi we are sorry you did not like the studio, there are people in the villa above and this would have been the noises you heard. We normally show people the studio and if they prefer to upgrade we can do so if the other villas are available. Some people choose to stay in the studio as they enjoy the spa and being able to bring a pet. Please let us know whilst you are staying if you are not happy as we will do our best to accommodate you.

Comfortable apartment walking distance to beach
We liked this apartment, it has a nice pool overlooking the canal, a well appointed kitchen and off street parking. The manager was pleasant and let us in when we locked our key inside. It is well located with a short walk to shops and the beach.

Fantastic studio in great location
Late evening booking because I was 'stuck' on the Sunny Coast and had more to do the following day. What a drag :D Robyn was fantastic to come out and process the booking at almost no notice. Neighbourhood was great, with a Coles and small shopping precinct only 5min walk away. The Villas have a jetty and neat looking inlet. Ideal holiday destination, and felt very peaceful.

Small studio in side street near Mooloolaba beach
We booked a "studio" room for 1 night which turned out to be not only small, but the bedroom had no window, A/C heat was not working and TV screen was tiny, The saltwater canal could be seen and accessed from the next block of buildings.

Hi we are sorry you were not happy with your stay, we were not aware of the heating not working, we do everything possible to rectify any issues during your stay. We do have access to the canal on our property, also BBQ and pool on the waterfront are for all guests.

Photos very deceiving , the Studio was a converted garage which smelled of dogs ! Poor Natural light and wasn't soundproof ( next door to reception) . Could hear every phone call and conversation thru the wall. Hot Water ran out after one bath as well. Wasn't value for money and wouldn't stay there again.

I arrived late and the manager met me on site to allow access. Very friendly and helpful. Location is off the Main Street so very quiet but close enough to walk.
