It was a little warm in the room so we had to open the window and the door to get a good ( cooler) breeze coming through. I understand they’ve been experiencing record temps. The hours of the restaurant were puzzling. It wasn’t open Friday for lunch, but was not on Monday. We ate dinner Friday night but it wasn’t open Sunday, so we found somewhere else to eat. "Nice peaceful place, helpful staff. The apartment could do with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, for example more cutlery & there were only 3 bowls in a 4 person apartment. Useful to have washing machine in the apartment. There are a few bikes you can borrow but they could do with a bit of TLC, suitable for a short ride to town."

"We had a wonderful time in Viksdalen with our extended family. We had everything that we needed or could want in the house. We loved the separate lakeside cabin but wished that we had discovered it sooner, rather than at then end of the holiday. If we could have changed anything it would be that the wonderful view wasn`t obscured by the owners roofline. It is very peaceful here and if you like solitude then this place has it in covered."
