Good morning Tom. Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are thrilled you liked our staff and found our rooms comfortable. I will pass on to maintenance about the water pressure. Unfortunately, there are no other options for the parking situation, and agree it is not an easy driveway to manoeuvre!! If you do stay with us again, the parking on the street at the back of the hotel, has no time limits on it. Kind regards.

Good location in Strathalbyn with plenty of local shops nearby. Rooms are quite old but have everything you need. There was little to no noise during the night.

Character building in a great location.
Good value for money. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. It's a pity there was no breakfast in the dining room. A breakfast to go was provided in the room. Room was clean but dated. Overall an excellent stay.

Excellent dining. External access to room was scary and hazardess for a 70 yo woman so I used the internal stairs. Bed linen and towels very clean but the room had dust around the skirting boards. Shower eas over spa and the pipes made a terrible noise when turned on. I would never stay there again

The room was clean and much bigger than we expected, the breakfast provided was nice and well, better than most. The dining was amazing and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Great pub and I could see why it was so popular.

Shower had an air bubble in pipes. Made a lot of noise. So did unit next door as we could hear the noise through the wall.

Christmas break . Staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly . All meals were excellent and river walk opposite the hotel were brilliant . hotel is within walking distance of shops and antique stores . Pleasurable stay . will return

This is one the best town pub experiences I have had in years. Awesome pub, great space, large accomodation, continental breakfast all at a rural town price. I’ll be back for sure!

We stayed in the spa room which was quite spacious. Our only issue was parking. Only 3 parks on site for small to medium cars otherwise off street parking.

Good size room. Pleasant decor. Breakfast supplies in room generous. Close walking distance to all that Strath has to offer. Enjoyed the stay. All rooms are upstairs and distant from car. As an elderly (81) person, I found climbing the steep and narrow staircase a challenge. Granddaughter loved the spa bath, but I was unable to shower because the shower was in the bathtub. We enjoyed our stay, but difficulties with accessibility might prevent us from staying again 😁

The accommodation was great, the room clean with all amenities. The hotel is right in the middle of town and close to a small shopping centre whih is a walk across the road.

Historic hotel next to the park
A fascinating old building with a large room and good dining facilities. The only window opens on to an internal light-well with a bright light which means the room is not completely dark at night -no other complaints. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the large spa bath!

The Victoria Hotel presents as a traditional small country pub. Its exterior belies its facilities. Excellent rooms, well trained staff, great menu. Lovely place to stay.

The drinking water tasted foul. I ended up drinking 8 cups of tea, but it even ruined the tea. The shower kept going cold. The bed was hard. The ensuite was so small that I banged my head on the door when accessing the toilet. $160 for a rubbish stay.
