Do not stay here. The sinks are falling off the walls, and having food in your room is prohibited (this is a hostel, not a kindergarten). In addition, I felt it would be easy for someone to gain access to my room. It was quite subpar.

Dear Morgan, Thank you for staying in our hostel and for taking the time to rate our services. Your feedback is very important for us to determine what needs to be improved and what to work on. We don't allow guests to bring food to the rooms because if everyone did that, the other guests will complain about bad smell, even more importantly food may attract bugs into the room, that's why we have a kitchen with a frigde where you can eat and store your food. We regularly update the entrance codes for the main door, room doors and locker room where you can store your important stuff. Ignore photos - completely inaccurate.
The place is nothing like the photos Run down, dirty, no common area. Should be shut down and refurbished. Regardless of the price, if the photos accurately reflected the state of the property, I would have booked elsewhere.

I checked in just before 12am and the hosts came out to check up on the linen fee, the situation got solved pretty quickly and they were super nice. Before going to bed I was able to get an extra chord extender so I could charge my stuff. The only “problem” was that people were snoring loudly, this was also my first hostel stay in a shared room. Definitely not the last time, next time I will probably bring earplugs tho. But all in all a really great experience!

I tried to check in late and called them to let them know. They could not find my reservation for a long time even though I provided them with my reservation number and hung up on me several times. Finally after having to email Them a copy at 1am they found it and said I needed to lay 60sek for linens and share a room with a stranger. I didn’t even get to stay the night there so I’m wondering if I will be re-imbursed for that night. A complete nightmare.

I often stay in different hostels in stockholm. Try different one's whenever i am here. This one was the worst. Kitchen is a joke. There is no way to cook except certain hours. An additional hidden fee of 60 sek to use blankets feels like being stolen from. Staff is god knows where. Cleaneliness an area is ok. Would not recommendto anyone. Pricy compared to other hostels really bad and dishonest too.

Less is sometimes more
Too many people in a small room, no lounge so people are sitting on a hall like on the train station, not enough stocks in the room to charge your phone, no service at all. I think they just want to have as many customars as possible. Extra payment for the bed sheet is stupid, it should be included in a price for the hostel. No kitchen, just a small place in the end of the hall. Bad hostel.

The hostel is generally clean
clean rooms, quiet, easy access to the train station(tunnellbannan). serves the purpose if you need a cheap place to spend a few nights.

The Good and the Bad of It
The hostel is right by a bus stop and just around the corner from the metro, so it's easy to get to from Central Station. Also, you're given the codes for the entrance to the building and your room prior to arrival, so if you're getting in late, there's no problem. It's also about the cheapest place to stay in Stockholm, which is nice since Scandenavia as a whole makes you feel like you're hemorrhaging money. However, the street the hostel's on is really loud with traffic even late at night, and the beds were not very comfortable. My friend and I stayed for four nights and didn't sleep well the whole week. You just need to know what your priorities are before booking.

Nice, inexpensive and a bit cramped....
It is in a great location, close to Metro although a little hard to find the first time. The self service type of format was new but if you need a place to crash in Stockholm that won't break the bank Acco is great. If you are looking for the perk's and comfort of a nice hotel... Then don't stay here. It is clean but cramped.... It was fine for my son and I travelling together.

Horrible Hostel, do not attempt to stay here.
Bed bugs, smaller than small bathrooms. Drunken kids everywhere after an alright hour, 3 am, loud. Non professional staff. Prison like.

It fit it's purpose but had a lot of maintenance problems... One shower was burning hot and wouldn't cool down. No 24 hour reception either

Convenient location
Stayed there sept 12-15 2014. Södermalm area is just nice and ACCO hotel is close to a metro station. There are lots of parks and cafe and walking around was just nice. The common room seems a bit too tight but it was clearness and nice.

No Fresh Air or natural light
The Hostel has no natural or central air flow to bring in fresh air from the outside. At night, when the dormitory doors can't be propped open, all air flow stops. It's stifling hot with humid used air. Exhaust fans are broken or clogged in the bathrooms and toilet rooms. Dormitories need wall or ceiling fans.

Very difficult to sleep in 95 degree stagnant air. No fans, air flow stops when doors are closed. Hallway has no windows or exhaust fans. Doors need louvers / vents. Fresh air is not accessible at night. Bathrooms are too small & no mirrors. Toilet and shower rooms have broken & clogged exhaust fans. I'm fine sleeping with ear plugs and blinders like at any hostel, but the stale air inside with unreachable fresh cool air outside was discussing. Building inspector needs to visit and issue citations.

Nice small hostel
Nice small hostel close to the metro line. Convenient online check-in, free wifi, comfortable beds with reading lights. Staff were friendly, and you could leave your luggage before and after check-in (big plus for backpackers!). Also there were free lockers in the rooms to lock up valuables. Only downside was paying for sheets, though this is understandable. Also they say free coffee but it is instant coffee, with only sugar, no milk or whitener provided, I found this unfortunate since I hate instant coffee. They had a machine to pay for better coffee, but maybe it would be better just to not advertise free coffee at all. Finally the kitchen was quite small but I didn't use it so I can't comment on it really. I would definitely stay there again!

Hostel, fine for one night
Hostels are always a bit of a risk, as the overall experience depends heavily on who else is staying in the place. In our case, there was a lot of noise during the night from people who were having a party inside the hostel or who were returning from a bar night. Some other concerns I had were that the amount of showers and sinks is rather limited, and we also ended up in the wrong room at first as the e-mail we received earlier stated another room than the one we were supposed to be in. The hostel's location is fine, although you need to make sure you get back in time before the metro closes (or then go party somewhere between Götgaten and Hornstgaten). So yes, I'd recommend it for one night or for a leisure trip in which you're the party person, but definitely not for a trip in which you'll need to get good sleep for several nights.

Good place for a short stay
The hotels position and price are the best assets. It is located close to the Zinkensdamm metro station and gives you quick access to Gamla Stan or the Globe Arena. Rooms very small, but clean. Recommended for young travellers as it can get noisy in the morning and in the late nights. Condition of the bathrooms needs working on. All in all clean, but bad showers or no warm water. For a short stay, it is highly recommended.
