The hotel is in a perfect location, minutes away from the Hermitage and close to all attractions.
The staff are very attentive, friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
The breakfast buffet is excellent, which includes an a la carte menu, at no extra charge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
There were a few things that could have made our stay even better. These are observations, to be looked at as room for improvement, rather than complaints.
There were a few glitches with housekeeping. The turn down service was missed a couple of times. Hand towels werent' replaced and had to ask for them twice. Once I called, they were immediately brought to the room.
I would also like to see this hotel follow a more environmentally friendly approach to changing towels. They replace them every day and there's no option to keep them. This is standard practice in most hotels these days.
The hotel had a NY's Eve menu however no vegetarian options were available. When we asked if they we could have vegetarian options, they said none were available. This turned out to be an inconvenience as we wanted to eat at our hotel and not have to have to fight the crowds and find a cab on such a busy night of the year. It was a bit of a nightmare trying to get a cab as roads around the hotel are closed due to its central location. It was the only time we found the staff unhelpful.
Overall, it was a great stay, We enjoyed the beautiful Xmas decorations and ambiance the hotel created.
