"My first time visiting here, I arrived a little early so went upstairs to have lunch where the soft play is with my children. Found out later by another member of staff that I should of got 20% off my food due to staying at the hotel but the staff at soft play said because I hadn't yet checked in yet I didn't qualify which personally I think is ridiculous, they also told me not sure check in my car reg with them had to wait till I checked in at the hotel. Lots of misread information from the team up at the soft play, also got my food order wrong and didn't come across very friendly or happy to help! However Amanda at the hotel reception was very kind and helpful, even managed to get us free breakfast the next morning which was super helpful considering I was on my own with 2 little children."

"Really basic hotel, very loud and was woken lots through the night. Staff weren’t particularly helpful and the wifi was rubbish. It was close to the hospital and there was on site parking."

"Staying at the Wilde was a wonderful experience. Really nice, friendly and helpful staff, everyone person there made me feel at home. The room was comfortable and had everything you'd need. I really liked the lobby/eating area. Good food and a nice place to just be and relax. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful entrance tree lined & gated! Unfortunately the company held my deposit without my advance notice for no apparent well validated reason! Found this very unprofessional not to notify me first. Our room was comfortable but could really do with a make over as quite dated furnishings! Regards, Michelle"

"First time stayed here, and could not fault a thing. (One or two little.niggles but nothing to complain about). Staff were helpful and all very friendly. Room was (as requested) a twin accessible room as mum.needs one these days.- and quiet. Meals were either in restaurant or bar area.Plenty of parking too, including disabled.bays. Overall, would stay here again if in Peterborough."

"Even though this place is set in historic venue, rooms and hallways are okay level and personally I don’t want to come back. Bright white lights room deodorizer are not helpful. It’s not a charming place. Breakfast is very good English breakfast and in nice part of the building. Coffee is good. Staff are friendly and warm welcoming. It is just unfortunate the hard goods are not in place."
