“Inexpensive Adriatic Jewel”

Apartments Johnny is a no-frill, clean, and confortable apartment with balconies looking out over the Adriatic. The rooms were very large, for Europe, and extremely clean. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. With walking distance is a 4-5 star hotel "Le Meridian" with a quality lounge and restaurant. Split is not within walking distance, but we had a car and had no problem finding parking at the harbor in Split. I'd stay again.

“best bargain for Split”

The building and all of the furnishings are new; new tile, new beds, new TVs (local and satellite), new tile througout. Even the hallways have plug in air fresheners! The Johhny Apartments have the feeling of a 5 star resort and the staff is ever friendly and helpful. The ocean view is gorgeous, just about 80 meters from the beach and the local bus stops just outside. I prefered to stay here than in Split as it is more economical and the local bus is a fun way to meet locals and see the sights, the trip is short, maybe 10 to 15 mins. I cannot say enough about this establishment, if I return to Split, I will stay here.

Traveller's tip

Walk down to the beach and take a left, go about 50 meters to the lovely little restaurant on the beach and order the catch of the day. The fish is cooked in garlic and olive oil and was the best I had ever tasted...
