Grandeur for a good price
From the onset, the hotel staff were super helpful and courteous, the hotel itself has one of the most stunning views and is characterful. There’s lots of bars and restaurants in front of the hotel and also in walking distance of just 2-5mins. I will visit again

Really liked the room and convenience of the location. Staff were courteous and helpful in suggestions. There were a few things broken or not working, the only one that was really disappointing was the refrigerator in the room. We were told that several were broken and they were in process of replacing them. Was offered to use the one in the dining area, but it was locked and could only be accessed when staff were available. Our second day, there were several new ones stacked in the dining room. We asked if any way one could go to our room and were declined.

The property canceled my first reservation and sent me to a terrible hotel. I had confirmation from Expedia. Then they only take Venmo the 2nd time ahead of time. Their information in Expedia is untrue. They don’t take credit card and require payment ahead of time. Their staff was rude and unhelpful

Cleanliness is questionable! White residue on bed
We stayed here whilst doing a tour of Croatia on our honeymoon. The hotel was well located and central to everything which was a plus however upon check in there seemed to be a problem with our reservation, apparently the booking had been cancelled which was rubbish considering the hotel had messaged me the day before confirming whether I was still coming, to which I replied and they then replied back. We had booked a presidential room given it was our honeymoon and were told this was no longer available and our only option was to stay at a hotel 10 minutes away or stay in this hotel but have to move rooms throughout the stay. Given we had just arrived after travelling we opted to stay, there was no apology. When we moved into the second room during our stay there was a white residue on the bed which the cleaner had tried to hide by placing towels on top. I hate to think what it was, my husband removed this and took it down to reception. This was disgusting! The whole time we were there we felt so itchy and I even ended up coming home with rashes on my body! Its fair to say we would not recommend this hotel.

Our room was quite quiet thanks to double paned windows it was clean but the fridge and safe did not work the whole 6 nights of our stay. The TV remote needed batteries so I could not watch TV until the batteries were replaced the next day. Our room was not cleaned until after the second day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast in the hotel for 10 euro but it’s a lot cheaper just a few steps in the restaurant nearby.

It was perfectly located off the main promenade. Away from where the cruise ships come into port. A former private residence turned into hotel rooms. Lovely, excellent restaurants very close by. Was very pleased with my selection of this charming hotel.

The area is amazing. Unless you stay in the Luxury room you will hate the other weird small rooms. The breakfast is horrible and no one to help you with it. Don't recommend this hotel at all.

I had a great stay at this hotel, it was clean, convenient area, easy to walk to & a nice view of the sea. The only thing I’d recommend is thicker drapes or black out curtains to block out the sun at sunrise (if anyone wants to sleep in past 6am) Wonderful staff!

First and foremost that rooftop view is amazing and I enjoyed a bottle of wine on the rooftop every evening. The property was also pretty clean. The bad: ripped and stained bedding and sheets, none of the mini fridges work well, staff was only able to help me with a few questions, the décor is gaudy and tacky, pleather white chairs were all banged up and gross looking, place needs to be repainted. Place felt like it hadn’t been up kept in a while. Is NOT a four star hotel. The rooftop and the location were amazing!

We followed the directions to the parking garage, which has a sign on it that gas powered vehicles were not allowed. Of course our rental car was gas powered. The hotel told us to park there anyway. Finding the hotel was tricky the first time, but luckily we only had to call once for directions. The front desk clerk took an extraordinarily long time to check us in. The room was great, it was the deluxe with loggia. The decor is nothing that I can describe...headboard and nightstands were a pale gray velvet, tufted with rhinestone type studs! Linens were great. The loggia was like a glass bubble that protrudes from the front of the building an allow a view of the harbor, boats and all who walk below. It was quite a parade of characters! It could also be noisy. The cold continental breakfast was adequate. Sometimes when I walked into the lobby, it was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke, which is icky for me. In all, I am glad we stayed here.

We had stayed in Old town earlier in our trip, and had a very noisy room. This property was super quiet, despite being located right in the heart of the action. Room was very clean and modern. Great location with lots of restaurant options just out the door! Would definitely stay there again!

We loved watching the sunrise and enjoying our coffee on the rooftop terrace; the city was so calm and peaceful with an incredible view. Many attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. The bed was very firm, but the room was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

A hotel with a no credit card policy Needed to take out cash to pay from an ATM which results in a higher rate due to higher exchange costs The result is you probably not have the travel insurance included using a credit card and if you stay longer you need to take out large amounts from an ATM

Nicely located hotel. Friendly staff. Amazing views of the Marina in Split. Room was presented to accomodate 4 people but the sofa bed was indeed terribe for my kids. Lack of basic amenities in the room was another disappointment, no hand towel, no shampoo for a $ 600 euros room. Not good enough.

The hotel like the picture very well locate an area for travel access to all the boat t and restaurant in a 5-15 minutes walk. I am sad I don't remember her name but the lady on the check in and stay all day she was so nice told us everything about the area place navigate to park the car. If you drive they have a garage to park but it's 42€ at day. Bed was big and comfortable I am no happy with pillow but it's me. Wife an kids sleep well. Sofa bed is small for my 14 years but he is 6.0 window in the room just an amazing view. Coffemaker in the room is for hot water and instant coffee not my favorite but just walk to get a good coffee and sit to watch outside forever or get a proseco bitter and drink afternoon just spectacular

Last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised!! Great little hotel in walking distance of the main Riva in Split. You can walk to the Port and the taxi rank is also close by. The room was very big and had everything you needed Note it isn't manned after 11pm until 8am and there isn't a restaurant or bar. Lovely rooftop terrace with a great view of the city !!

Really great stay, just for the one night before I headed over the water to Hvar. The rooftop terrace is a great touch and the staff were really friendly and helpful - allowing me to check in early too.

The location is amazing! Split is gorgeous and it was easy to walk everywhere and anywhere. The parking was close by and staff was great. Lots of things needed to be updated in our rooms though, lots of scratches on the walls and bathrooms seemed outdated.

A lovely option for Port of Split
I booked this last-minute and was very happy with the stay. The view is great, as is the location. You can easily walk to Old Town, it's minutes away. Staff were very accommodating. The furniture orientation is unique and a bit of a post-Baroque meets Art Deco. Having an empty mini fridge was great, there's a convenience store moments away. I would recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay at Galería Valeria overall. The location is easy walking distance to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to provide a little peace. The room itself was nicely decorated and the loggia was a good second best option to a balcony. Marita checked us in and was very friendly and provided lots of helpful information on where to go and where to eat. The cons are that we found dirty towels in a drawer, although the location is ideal it was a little bit noisy but not too bad. There is a concrete wall/beam that separates the room from the loggia which allows for only about 6’ clearance. My husband being 6’3” whacked his head on this at least three times (you’d think once is enough! Lol) so be careful if you’re more than 6’. And there is no full length mirror. Otherwise great hotel in a great location with friendly staff.

AC didn't work
AC didn't work...we called front desk and sounded like the person was at the club and would have someone up to check on it. He finally came up and couldn't solve the issue. Worth noting, I did book 3 rooms and the other 2 had no issues.

DearYou got me, I'm Ana, I work in the sales department and it was my birthday, but I duly answered the call even though it says that the reception is open until 11 in the evening. I called the reception on the phone to come to the hotel and adjust the air conditioning for you. The reception also did not set it up well, even though there are instructions in the hotel book.
