Great location in the heart of historic Sorento. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping and to the waterfront. The hotel was wonderful, and well maintained. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel has a fine dining room as well as a great breakfast which was included in our room rate. One of the best features was the swimming pool located on their roof top. Great way to relax after a hectic day traveling around the city. Highly recommended.
"Excellent hotel ideally situated with friendly sta"
Stayed for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon, we were lucky enough to stop in the 007 suite which was simply beautiful with lovely views and comfort. Hotel was clean and all staff very helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast although coffee wasn't the best. It's less than 10 minutes walk to the main hustle and bustle of sorrento and vast number of restaurants. Only down side I noticed was pool had not much sun after 230-3. Will definitely stay again

This was our first trip to Sorrento and we were extremely happy that we chose the Hotel Mediterraneo. Everything about the Hotel was perfect, we saw the most beautiful sunset from the front bar area..The rooms were extremely comfortable and well equiped. As our room was a garden room we overlooked the area where evening entertainment was carried out one night a week and as the rooms had doubled glazed doors, this did not disrupt our sleep.

As many other reviewers mentioned, it's a great hotel for the money. The hotel is run by Antonio and Paulo (father and son) who speak very good English and are very helpful with recommendations.
Breakfast: a good choice of fruits, meat cuts, cheese, cereal, coffee, etc.
Rooms: Good size. Modest, but have everything you need
Location: Quiet street. About 5-10 minwalk from S. Agnello station (next to last train stop). About 15-20 min walk from Sorrento city center
Warning: Google maps hotel location is not precise! You need to walk down another 100m or so, if heading from the S. Agnello station.

Spent 4 nights in Sorrento. The hotel is in the historic centre close to all the sights, shops and restaurants.Despite this it was very quiet.
Thanks to Ivan and his staff for a memorable few days.
The hotel is beautifully maintained, very comfortable with attention to detail.
A marvellous shower in the bathroom topped the experience.
The staff were genuinely interested, caring and helpful.
Breakfast catered for everyones taste from the home baked cakes, fruit, cheese, cold meat, croissants and eggs prepared freshly.
I would definately go back and recommend to all my friends.
Thank you all again.

An immaculate intimate property with fantastic, discreet service. Great location, about a 20 minute walk into Sorrento but with a couple of lovely bars / restaurants only a couple of minutes away. We stayed in a Junior suite, which was spacious with a small balcony and huge picture windows allowing almost 360 views. The whole property was beautifully kept, with pretty interesting gardens. The pool was quiet and so relaxing, with snacks and drinks available throughout the day. Maria and Nina were fantastic, so helpful and candid when advising on restaurants and surrounding locations.

We stayed at Minervetta this June with our 2 children (11 and 14). The rooms were very clean, well equipped and had beautiful views. La Minervetta is a gem. My only regret is that the beach in Sorrento is not that great. However, getting to nice beaches from Sorrento is easy and the staff at La Minervetta will assist you with your daily excursions to old ruins, beaches or restaurants. This is a great hotel.
