“Nice one.”
Modern hotel, excellent location, just few steps from Robertson Quay with many restaurants. Stayed in Premier room, everething is fine. Free WiFi is also important. Hotel costs money you pay.
“Average”
I'm not entirely sure if I'll stay at Studio M again. The bathroom is extremely small. The room was dusty. They do offer free Internet, but it is impossible to get on the internet in the evening, because there are students staying in the same hotel. Surrounding neighbourhood was fine, close enough to Clarke Quay and Orchard Road.
“room is not clean”
room is not clean and not prepare basic stuff. really disappointment.
“Good location, typical small but nice”
This hotel was incredibly small with a loft style apartment design. Shower and toilet were a strange setup in "cupboards" off the main entrance, but all very clean. I wouldn't chose this hotel as my first choice in Singapore, but I certainly would on a busy weekend such as the F1 last weekend.
“Close to everything”
Fantastic location, walk to Orchard Rd or Marina Bay. Heaps of options for eating out within a minutes walk from the hotel. Decent cafe and bar at the hotel with over 50 types of beer. Huge pool great for doing laps, or just lounging around.
“Great Location”
A great price, and cute room and a perfect location - can walk and find wonderful places to eat, drink and even shop.
“Ikea Shoebox”
- Stayed in single room for 5 nights. - The rooms in the hotel are so small that your head is close to bumping against the ceiling when you climb up the loft. Everything is furnished with the cheapest Ikea-style furnishings. - When you are in the toilet, your knees are bumping against the wall. I don't want to think what happens to guests that are bigger than 1.8 m. - The doors to the shower and toilet (separated) had return springs of the cheapest quality. I was reminded of woodworking class in Secondary school. - There was not enough space to put clothes inside the drawers. The amount of given space was pitiful for this. I had to rack my brain to see how I could do this, and ended up requesting 7 extra hangers (there were only 3). - The clock/ipod dock was not working. They replaced it (its glued to the bedside table), but the speaker at the top of the roof was continually giving a hissing noise every 10 mins. - This is the only 4 star hotel in Singapore I know of whose gym lacks (a.) Air conditioning and (b.) Water. There's not even a tap! - Proximity to subway was abysmal. You had to cab everywhere. All in all, I would pay the extra $20 per night to get far higher quality of room somewhere else. This is the first and last time I am staying there.
“WORST experience worst hotel i stayed in ever”
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER >the mini bar didnt work in the room. no cool drinks. when they eventually changed it i could see HANDFULLS of dust and muck behind the minbar it was so dirty. The guy didnt bother clean it he just but a new mini bar in place. >the airconditioning was FREEZING at night even after i switched it off. It was worse than a british winter in the room at 3am. >the room service food choice is VERY LIMITED. >the hotel had failed to reset the alarm for new guest so I was WOKEN UP by alarm clock at 5am!!!! i was not happy! >Taxis are NOT readily available in that area. always took ages to find a taxi. >one day when i came back to the room i found that my room door was LEFT OPEN by hotel staff after housekeeping. POOR security arrangements. All my stuff could have been stolen. >when you call them to ask them to make up your room, they forget so you have to call like a few times and in the end they took more than 2 hours to come to clean my room. not satisfactory. >the curtains are dirty. when you open the curtains there is so much dust in the air. not recommended for anyone with asthma problems or elderly people with weakened immuned systems. >the bed arrangement is stupid. the loft is on the upper level and the bed on lower level. and the shower is tiny. >the toilet has bad smells of cigarettes when i entered the room even with no one using it. i realized it was bad smells coming from the drain pipe. I would never stay there ever again.
“Great location and service but rooms too small.”
I would recommend hotel with reservations - the main one being the size of the rooms. I was with my wife. One side of the bed was flush against the wall and the was very little room on the other side. This made getting in and out of the bed difficult.
“Perfect location with a perfect price”
I have stayed in Singapore many times, but this was my first time at this hotel - I was impressed! Great Location, great room and a perfect rate so I will stay here again.
