“Average”

Clean and the staff were friendly and efficient, but the hotel is looking a bit dated. I was especially disappointed that the restaurant does not serve any a la carte choices at dinner though. Buffet or eat in the bar only.

“Extremely Impressed”

Loved the location very close to orchard road which is ideal, the rooms were comfortable, couldnt hear any noises external , like toilets flushing, people walking past. Drinks in fridge are free which was a bonus, and nespresso coffee machine is the final touch. Highly recommend this hotel as have stayed in a few around orchard road & this is by far the cleanest !

“Great Location”

Very friendly staff here. No need to pay for breakfast here...there are plenty of fast food places all around. The shopping centers with EVERYTHING inside are within walking distance. Easy city bus to get to Singapore Flyer also. This Hotel is in a very upscale area.

This is a perfect location for are for all travelers. Safe at night to walk around. We really enjoyed the 4 story underground with 4 stories above ground shopping complex just down the street. The city bus stop is right out in front. Taxies were very inexpensive here too.

Must see

The Singapore Flyer was a must. Also China Town was nice. Going to the top of the Sands Hotel Tower was great also (57 stories high).

“Excellent location, updated rooms & great value for money”

The hotel is located near the intersection of Scotts and Orchard, so it walkable to the shopping centers of the area. Orchard MRT is a 5-minute walk, so the hotel has convenient accessibility to virtually anywhere in Singapore. The hotel has a large and nicely decorated lobby. Four elevators service the guests. So, getting to your room or to the lobby is very fast. Check-in took longer than expected. An information that I asked for, and was promised that it would wait for me in my room, never was provided. For these two reasons, I am rating the service so-so. The hotel is a little old, but rooms have been updated recently. The bathroom is simply fabulous. Desk space is also ample. I have stayed in Singapore hotels that are far, far less in quality, but not far, far less in price. So, this hotel is a great value for money.

“Maintenance needs to look into”

The first day, the toilet wasn't working, the handle can't flush the toilet. My husband repaired it as it's early morning. The next day, the shower water was far too cold, so we rang the reception for the maintenance staff to repair it. The next few days, the light was flickering. But we left it at that. Overall it's comfortable stay but maintenance needs to look into before they let the next visitor stay in. I'm very sure a working toilet is very important, just imagine going into the toilet for the very first time, not knowing it's not working at all. It's so embarassing to call the maintenance guy up after using the toilet! Also hot water system needs to be in a good working condition too. My room is # 80seven. Thank you very much!

The hotel was very convenient as it was close to an MRT station. The room was always clean except the coffee machine was a bit dusty, but the bed and bathroom was very clean.The staff were really sweet and helpful in helping us throughout our stay.I loved that the hotel was muslim-friendly, as the food in the hotel was all halal, you can find the direction of the qibla on the ceiling and a quran in our drawer.The carousel restaurant buffet, was one of the best buffets in town and has gained awards for it .Overall it was a pleasant experience.
