So accessible in regards to transport, food / restaurants. Manager been so accommodating and have granted our request to have our rooms in the same floor (for I have booked 4 rooms all together) but to my surprise we have our rooms next to each other.

The property is not what it's being advertised. It looks nothing like the picture on the web site. The reception is rundown and the air conditioning unit was dripping water in the lobby. The carpet in the hallway to the room was worn out and have big patch of stain all over. The room is small the carpet is dirty and stained, you can acutely see the dust bunny at the end of the bed. The bathroom is old and the shower has mildew growing on the floor and walls. In term of house-keeping, we were told that it will be serviced every other day (new green program) which is ok with us as we normally hang our towels and reuse them. however due the the tropical temperature we did take more shower than expected and by the third day we were in need of fresh towels so we place our towels in the bathroom sink indicating that we need fresh towels, house keeping did not get the message or did not care about our request, they simply folded our wet towels and place them on the counter. Finally, I don't know how does the SG Clean folks certify their properties but how can you certify a property as sanitized when there is mildew growing on the shower wall. All of this is to say, I would recommend that you stay way from this hotel even though it is in a very nice neighbourhood.

In front of the property is Exit 1 of Havelock train station which is very convenient to travel around. The property condition and room is okay but overall of what I paid for and what I received. I am satisfied and will revisit.

Good friendly service. They put effort into cleaning but not good enough; carpets are dirty, and the shower cubical needs to be cleaned. The management has to set a standard in cleaning along with their brand promise (SG Clean) and monitor the day-end checklist of the cleaners to make proper daily cleaning is to be maintained.

It’s location is excellent, lot’s of great restaurant around. We roam around late at night at it was safe as well. Great for morning jog. I suggest that they remove the carpet, so that it will be perfect.

Expect basic but area is fantastic
The location is fantastic for dining and transportation. The staff is friendly and the daily housekeeping is good. However, the room is old, and the amenities are basic. Sometimes the towels are ripped. We got it at a unbeatable price and the towels get changed daily.

This place is truly a hidden gem in Singapore. Love the peace and tranquil environment. Spacious and clean room. Free breakfast and free parking. Staffs were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was affordable and easy to find. Staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were tidy and the amenities were fully functional. All the basics promised were there, so it's worth the price paid. However, the bedsheets and carpets had very clear stains in them so it wasn't super clean. You have to keep relogging into the WiFi too. I didn't mind, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall a pleasant stay :)

Its a soft check in there.I like the blanket as it keep me warm.Im ok with the cleanliness and the room size.But wifi is not that blast.I did nit even get the connection and when i booked a room there i chose queen size bed but they gave je double only

Worst hotel experience in my life. Hidden unlawful regulations in place to try and earn more money out of the few customers they have. Pictures all fake, rooms look dilapidated, worst selfish condescending service. NEVER BOOK A STAY AT THIS TRASH PLACE PLS!

Good for short stay only
This was my second stay, the room was much smaller than the room I experienced the first time, and the TV channels were limited, for my first stay, the TV channels had more options which included Chinese movies channels. The room looked old and needed some painting. Guests were only provided with 2 small tubes of 2 in 1 body gel & shanpoo.

Good value for the money in Singapore
I stayed in New Cape Inn for 5 nights on two separate times. My overall feeling about the hotel is great. The location was perfect for my needs: there are many buses stopping near, and two MRT stations too. There are also a few nice restaurants, 7eleven and a food court right next to the hotel. The hotel is good value for the money in Singapore: if you are on a budget, it's a good choice. It is a bit worn out, but the room was spacious and very clean. We did encounter some problems with our first room, but the hotel staff worked them out and we left with a good feeling about the hotel.
