Long Beach Chalet

10/10 Excellent

"5 weeks in Thailand in various islands and this was by far my favourite resort in terms of room comfort, beach and swimming, tons of beach chairs and a wonderful pool - we loved how close everything was at the resort to access. The onsite restaurant and coffee/dessert cafe was excellent with great choices. walking to the main road to access other restaurants took only about 5 minutes + a 7/11 was just up the main road as well. The breakfast at Long beach chalet was OUTSTANDING. By far the best of any we’d had over our 5-week trip in Thailand. Stay here - you will not be disappointed."

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa

"Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

"The location is good. On beach but know that the water is not clear. The staff was quite unhelpful and not friendly. We tried to order at restaurant at 7:50pm and they said “no more, kitchen close” same thing next day… so that was more than disappointing. Also in afternoon at 4pm tried to get ice cream or iced coffee I was told the only thing left was vanilla shake. I did check at front desk and the restaurant/bar was supposed to be open till 9pm. Overall ambiance is very much missing. Much nicer places for less money to the left and right of this one."
