Property Amenities
The hotel is the perfect mix between relax and amusement. A piece of heaven tucked away in the countryside is located just 14 km far from Florence. In the morning breakfast is served in the cosy breakfast room or in the sunny veranda.
The hotel has an excellent Tuscan restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool (may - september), a lovely park with a lake, free private parking, free table tennis, free bike hire, free tourist info and reservation desk, a free internet point and a free wi-fi area. A cheap laundry service is also available. The hotel also provides several meeting halls at the 16th century villa.
The friendly staff will be glad to help you to enjoy the area at best, arranging for you visits and tasting at the local wine farms, horse riding, wellness treats and much more.
From the railway station of Signa (3 km far from the hotel) the centre of Florence can be reached in 15 minutes. You can get tickets and a free map at the reception. Siena, Pisa, Lucca, the Chianti hills are less than 1 hour away.

The hotel has 21 wide and bright quaint rooms in typical Tusacan style, with king-size beds. Every room is decorated following the themes of a famous artist. “Gloria”
This was a very comfortable hotel with a great staff. It was a 10 min drive to the train station which was good. There is a restaurant a short walk up the hill, very delicious. TIP: get good directions quite hard to find.
“Friendly Staff go Beyond the Norm”
We entered the hotel with a punctured tire on our rental car. The staff assisted with all details to help get our car towed and a replacement provided. It is a lovely place with a nice breakfast. I will surely return in the future for a longer stay next time.
“Lovely Tuscan Venue”
We could not fault the staff, loved the Tuscan style of our accommodation. Nice views. Pool good. Car necessary as not near to town and no food is available between breakfast and dinner at 8.00pm. Could do with a kettle in the rooms. Thanks for a good holiday.

“Staff , food and atmosphere excellent!”
The room was like a small apartment, the staff were above helpful and became family very quickly-all would be invited into my home with no hesitation. The hotel was a distance away from the train (which was about 15 minutes into Florence) and a taxi was needed to for transportation. The resturant was excellent with another group of helpful staff. The trip was too short!
“Fantastic place”
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel,extremely friendly staff, set in beautiful surroundings whilst being so close to the city of Florence. Definitely need a car to see the area as there are so many places to see in the region. We didn't have a car but the hotel staff were quite happy to drop us at Signa station and also pick us up as well! Nothing was a problem - the breakfasts were wonderful!Alessandro and staff were wonderful would definitely go back! The pool was perfect as well!
“the Best Kept Secret in the Heart of Tuscany”
This hotel and staff were outstanding. We arrived by train from Rome ( it is about 20 min from Florence)and a 40 euro cab ride later discovered my wallet had been pickpocketed from the train station. Elisa and Alessandro were so helpful. He took me to the police station to the bank to use my husbands bank card and they let me phone to cancel all my cards.All they cared about was my happiness and it showed.There is a train from Signa to Florence for 1.7 euro and they will drive you to the train station and pick you up, for FREE!!!The hotel is a small country estate and it has a beautiful pool and surrounding vista. The view from my room was rolling hills, a meandering creek and a field of sunflowers.It truly is paradise. The food at the resaurant Tre Corones is as good as any Michelin 3 stars I have dined at.The freshly made pasta is to die for and the Preposo(stew made with wine) was sublime. We loved it there and we will go back.
“The best surprise of our trip!”
Booking online you sometimes never know what you are in for. Particularly on an international trip. But this hotel was an unexpected gem! The facilty, the grounds, the people were wonderful beyond expectation. This was our 7th trip to Italy and Luca, Betty and their staff definetly contributed to making it our best! My only hesitation is recommending it is that too many people will find out how wonderful it is and I won't be able to book it next time. If you stay there you are in for a treat.
“wonderful place to stay”
Villa Castelletti was a wonderful experience. The staff there went out of their way to make our stay a great one. The rooms were spacious and clean and were made to look like a Tuscan farmhouse. They provided transportation to the nearest train station so we could go into Florence. I would have to say that their kindness and hospitality made this the best place that I have ever stayed in. I will definitely come back.
“Great Place”
A superb hotel and wonderfully friendly staff who gave us a fantastic welcome. The room was very clean and well furnished. The breakfast was easily the best we had in Italy. The nearby restaurant is also a must - the food was fantastic there and the hotel made our reservations for us.
