The hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly, especially the dinning room staff. The room was a bit smaller than I had expected but it was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good area. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. There's a lovely balcony at the back of the hotel. Overal, a great experience.
The hotel was spotless, the staff very helpful and friendly and Siena was amazing. We used the hotel as a base as it is close to all the public transport systems to get to other places such as Florence and Monteriggioni and it is incredibly cheap to use the buses and trains and they all run on time.
We stayed in the hotel in October for 1 night with our daughter. Our impression on arrival was 'wow'. Dennis spoke excellent English and was very welcoming and informative. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to Piazza del Campo but is situated in a quiet area with the most amazing views over the surrounding countryside and also of the town.
The hotel has a traditional exterior but the inside is modern with quality fixtures and fittings - the bathrooms are of a very high standard.
The breakfast offers a good selection of food and drinks, and being able to eat outside on the terrace enhances the experience of staying at this wonderful hotel.
Overall the hotel is amazing, the staff are so friendly, and I can't wait to return!
From the terrace area, which is open to all with plenty of seats, tables and canopies, the view across the city was just great. We ate at the restaurant every evening during our four day stay, and the food was superb and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and the towels were changed every day and the room was tidied and the bed made. They even folded our nightwear.
The staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was well catered for and we all had plenty to eat. I was surprised how low the bill was when we checked out. Bus tickets could be bought from reception and they also booked us a trip for wine tasting which was superb. The Hotel Garden is a great place to stay.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Tony not only recommended restaurants he explained what was best about the service at each location and made us a reservation at a restaurant which proved to be excellent. We only stayed the night, but I would recommend this gem to anyone staying in Siena.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff arrange a great tour of an olive oil/balsamic vinegar/vineyard. Priceless. Also they arrange a city tour (a must). One misses a lot of information about the city with a self guided tour. Recommend great restaurants.

We spent two very relaxing days in Siena. Hotel staff was helpful in finding a restaurant late at night and an self serve laundry, as well as guide to special shopping needs. The town has a wonderful character, and the steep streets add to the enchantment. Streets full of happy friendly people, wide shopping and dinning choices.
