From the terrace area, which is open to all with plenty of seats, tables and canopies, the view across the city was just great. We ate at the restaurant every evening during our four day stay, and the food was superb and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and the towels were changed every day and the room was tidied and the bed made. They even folded our nightwear.
The staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was well catered for and we all had plenty to eat. I was surprised how low the bill was when we checked out. Bus tickets could be bought from reception and they also booked us a trip for wine tasting which was superb. The Hotel Garden is a great place to stay.
This was convenient for overnight after arriving at FCO before shuttling to Citivichi for our cruise, and then overnight again before flying home. Great breakfast buffet, plus a tasty menu offered at there poolside restaurant. The service was great and prices were reasonable. Quiet rooms and comfy beds. Overall a good value and would use again.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Tony not only recommended restaurants he explained what was best about the service at each location and made us a reservation at a restaurant which proved to be excellent. We only stayed the night, but I would recommend this gem to anyone staying in Siena.

The hotel was spotless, the staff very helpful and friendly and Siena was amazing. We used the hotel as a base as it is close to all the public transport systems to get to other places such as Florence and Monteriggioni and it is incredibly cheap to use the buses and trains and they all run on time.
I stayed at the Villa Liberty for a few days in Sienna. Its a smaller place, very quaint. Its not right in the main town center but a short walk to get there, 10-15 min? Not too much for restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but again a short walk. The staff were extremely pleasant. The room was not huge but as a single traveller I don't need much space. The room was comfortable, and the rain head shower, with lots of hot water, at the end of a long day of walking was amazing. Breakfast is simple, typical bread, cheese, coffee or cappuccino, and boiled eggs. Not a huge buffet but simple and good. If you are driving, parking can be tricky as many people park in the neighborhood for the day, (its across the street from an old fortress), to go into the main town square, so you have to get there very early, or drop off your bags and walk back from where you park and move the car later. If you come in by train, its a 10 min taxi ride from the train station as its at the bottom of the hill and the historic center is up on the hill, most any hotel will be a taxi or bus ride up.
Very pretty hotel, clean, well kept, very friendly staff, comfy bed, hot shower. I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel was excellent and in easy walking distance of he walled city once you found the escalator system from the railway station. We had a situation where my wife had to go to hospital (all OK now). The hotel could not have been more helpful.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff arrange a great tour of an olive oil/balsamic vinegar/vineyard. Priceless. Also they arrange a city tour (a must). One misses a lot of information about the city with a self guided tour. Recommend great restaurants.
