We stayed at shoal bay villas from November 15th to yesterday December 2nd, 2022. We had an amazing time! Our room was very big and well equipped. The owner Katherine and her staff are amazing!! The beach is one of the best that I have been. We will be back for sure. I am already thinking of our next visit !!

The Shoal Bay Villas are the perfect stay! Walk out your room and you're to the amazing white sand and teal waters in just a few seconds. The villas have full kitchens and living areas, always hot water, everything works and someone always there if there are questions. You are assigned beach chairs on the sand so there's never a question of whether you'll have a "spot!" All restaurants and bars to get a famous rum punch are within steps from your perch on the beach.

Undoubtedly among the top beaches in the Caribbean and this property is nestled in the best beach and best snorkeling spot in Anguilla…why go elsewhere? The builder paid careful attention to capitalize but not compete with the surrounding beauty. Staff is very accommodating. They can modernize the locks in their doors, but that’s nitpicking…because there’s nothing to complain about, lol. Nevertheless, our family’s experience here is unforgettable. The clear blue and moderately calm water, blindingly white fine sand and uncrowded beach is paradise found!

Excellent location on best beach in Anguilla. Apartment with all kitchen tools needed. Friendly staff who also not charged us for missing one night as incoming flight was cancelled. Great restaurants beach-walking distance.

Office check-in and checkout staff was outstanding providing assistance. Had on site COVID testing. The beach front villas are well worth it. Just open the door and walk out to your reserved umbrella and beach chairs.

Our stay at Shoal Bay Villas was fantastic overall, You could not find lodging that is closer to one of the best beaches on the Island, within 100 yards walking distance of great food (Menoah) and drinks (Orlajs...Rum Punch). Great umbrellas (reserved for your stay so you don't have to wake up early to fight for your space), soft sand, blue water. This place has a real family type atmosphere, Kathy and her daughters are available before you arrive (communicating before arrival on protocols and paperwork needed), when you arrive (needed to quarantine for about half a day and made sure we had dinner, breakfast) and departure. The other guests were very friendly - most had been coming back from 10 to 30yrs and offered fantastic restaurant suggestions. The room had a good size bedroom with comfortable bed and good AC, updated bathroom, galley kitchen, and living room with glass sliders that open to a patio just steps to the beach. Nothing too fancy overall, but comfortable and very, very clean! We plan on definitely going back as a couple, or doing a family trip with our college age plus children. Not sure there is enough activities and beach toys for the younger set - but we arrived the first week of November and not all the beachside spa's and sports/activity shacks along the beach were open. Anguilla and Shoal Bay Villas is a magical combination.

I really enjoyed my time at Shoal Bay Villas. I checked in on my birthday and I received a complementary bottle of champagne. The property is clean, quiet and safe. There are several restaurants within walking distance on the beach. The taxi from the ferry terminal was $20. Rent a car if you can. You can rent them on the property. I will be visiting next year for my birthday.

Great Ambiance and Right On the Beach!
I arrived late (after dark). The office was closed but a friendly security guard provided the key to my villa and also helped in getting connected to the WiFi. He was also helpful in providing directions to the closest restaurant, which was within walking distance right down the beach.The 2nd floor room was airy with high, beamed ceilings. Lots of windows. Ceiling fans and air conditioners. The room was clean and looked recently upgraded. Nice tile bathroom. The bed was comfortable and clean. The covered patio was roomy with several chairs and a table. The area is quiet and feels secure. The office staff at check-out time was pleasant and cordial. I only wish I had been able to book longer and had more time to enjoy the ambiance.

The location is my favorite thing about Shoal Bay. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Quiet and peaceful. Where else can you walk out of your room for dinner barefoot along the beach, and have a choice of restaurants and bars? Afterward, when the sun goes down, walk along the beach, stargazing, and if you’re lucky, find luminescent sea creatures on the beach. Magical.
