Great Business Hotel

I was very impressed with this hotel. I checked in for 3 days to see what it was like and ended up staying 2 weeks. Mostly impressed by the room - generous size, very comfortable bed, great rain shower. Front desk and porter speak English and it was very easy to get a taxi. Hotel is set in Nanshan commercial area so it was very quiet at night. Restaurants at Hotel are OK. Not many local restaurants or eateries within local walking distance.

中国の生体験出来る街のホテル

昔のスタイルのグランドホテル、ロビーは16階、エアコンは冷房のみ、落ち着けるホテルです。周辺は地元の食堂と住宅街、朝のタクシーはつかまり難いが地下鉄の駅迄すぐ、コンビニも近い。中国語が喋れる方と一緒に泊まると楽しめそうです。

ビルの低層階はオフィスで入り口は若干わかりにくいが、価格がリーズナブルで清潔なホテル。 ただし、フロントの方は英語が通じないので、面倒。

Very handy to Daxin station and shopping

The hotel cleaning staff were very helpful, breakfast was good. The reception staff did not speak much English but did try to understand our requests .

Not good room condition, breakfast, Small hotel

This is not big hotel. They using only 5 floor (from 16 ot 21 floor). Other floor is office building. And this building is quite old I had elevator accident one time. Room is quite big so its enough to living. But breakfast is not good. (Just so. so) So I don't want to recommend use this hotel to my colleagues. (Actually Rouhu or Futian building is better.)

The bottom half of the building is an office building. Lacking of lighting, on the ground floor and entrance makes it looks like it's not operating. Heard the noise of the traffic even rooms on 22 floor. Room is clean but bed is very hard.

やはり、中国のホテルでした。ただ泊まるだけなら問題はないです。

地下鉄の周辺地図には中南海悦大酒店とは書いてなく、一緒に入っている別のビルの名前で書いてあったので、探すのにちょっと苦労しました。 部屋にエアコン2台ありましたが、リモコンは1つを共有でした。

日本人向けではない。

部屋はまあまあ。フロントは英語怪しい。日本語はもちろん無理。 周辺も日本人向けではなく、ローカルビジネスマン向けか。 タクシーもなかなかつかまらない。 ホテルに手配してもらったリムジンは領収書出なかった。 とはいえ周辺に飲食店も多く、地下鉄駅大新もすぐで、裏に市場や屋台街もあり、 中国語を楽しめるのならおすすめ。

Very nice, among the nicest i have stayed in asia

The room was excellent. Clean and modern, with an asian look to it. The front desk staff spoke very limited english and were of no help at all. The check in is not at the entrance to the building, but instead up the elevator on a different floor. Make sure you know this before you arrive. Location is okay, lots of stuff around the area, but a cab ride to get anywhere you need to go. Overall, for the price it was an above average value.

Seriously, I will not recommend this hotel to friends. Hotel is not up to standard to charge at nearly $400 per night. The hotel has poor lighting. I cannot find the main entrance. Room is dark too. Bed is hard. I can't sleep at all. Overall is BAD!

ホテルの受け付けはあくまで16階です。

本当にキレイなホテルでした。付帯施設はレストランのみです。写真を添付しておきましたが、この写真はビルの１階のフロントの写真。メインの受け付けは１６階です。１階のスタッフはエクスペディアのチケットを見せても意味が分からず、このホテルではありません、と答えられました。質問してもあまり明快な回答を出来ませんので、直接１６階に上がってチェックインをオススメします。１６階のフロントはきちんとしていますので大丈夫です。廊下や室内は本当にキレイ。

Disappointing experience

This hotel is dark and impersonal. There was a huge argument between 2 guests down the hall and the staff seemed reluctant to intervene. I would not stay here again. I confused this hotel with another of the same name and in a different area which was great.

South China Laguna Hotel Shenzhen Nan Shan

According to my colleague whom was actuallly the staying with the hotel last week, the hotel is obviusly less maintenance that most of the room facilities are either broken or not clean. It is also not very convenience for a traveller if you wish to take a cab to any where nearby, as the hotel lobby isn't at 1F and they can't call taxi for you; i.e. you have to wait on the street downstair. It may take you 30 minutes there for a taxi.

The hotel location is good - close to the subway and bus stops next to the hotel can go everywhere in Shenzhen (cost 1 to 6 Yuan max). The hotel staff is helpful and the room is nicely decorated. The only thing is the cleanliness of the room (worn out carpet etc). The bathroom did have very bad sewerage smell and flushing system is bad - but with the toilet seat cover closed all the time can reduce the smell in the bathroom or spread to the room.

Conditional Recommendation

If you need a reasonably priced place to stay that has easy access from the airport by subway, this motel will work. It is about 200 meters from the subway exit. The neighborhood doesn't offer much if you are looking for high end, but there are adequate stores and food sources to meet your needs. McDonald's is right at the subway entrance. I arrived after dark and the hotel seemed dark inside. There is a reception desk as you enter the ground floor but you are directed to go up several floors for registration.

Beds of granite!!!

This hotel advertised that it had memory foam beds and that sure was not the case. The beds were so hard the floor was more forgiving. I had to take the cushions off the couch and put them on the bed to try to sleep. The business center consist of one 2003 Acer computer that is slow as can be. It is internet but you have to wait about a minute for each page to change. Forget trying to look at spreadsheets or anything. Also, they call it a business center but it is a computer in the lobby. The restaurant is not too bad for dinner but the breakfast buffet is a joke!
