“very good, well located, very unique”
very unique hotel very wll located in the touristic part of sevilla . its 11 house of the old jewish quarter that have been joined together into 100 hotel rooms . the life goes around a living room and bar with piano music in the evening where you can also navigate the internet
“Not convenience from Hotel Reception to Room”
I do believe the hotel service is OK , but with their pricing of their service like Free Wi-Fi and convenience from Receiption to Room is really not good.
“Good but room for improvement”
The hotel is a 'rabbit warren' and not easy to find your room. Staff were not very helpful. Common complaint in Spain Because of one way narrow streets the hotel was not easy to find. Next time I would drop the car off at the airport on arrival in Seville and get a taxi or bus to the hotel The hotel location was good . Seville itself was very enjoyable.
“disappointed”
The hotel is very charming and quite suited to the city of Seville. We had wanted a place with alot of flavor of the city. That said, that is the highlight of our experience. We arrived to a very rude welcome by the gentlemen at the front desk. Not helpful and did not answer our questions or our request for a map. The room, on looks, was very pretty, however, the space in front of the toilet was non-existent. My husband could not sit down on the seat and myself (short), my face was plastered against the wall if I needed to sit down on the toilet. Bathroom was clean, but there was the presence of some ants. Next, our shower flooded and it took them a day to fix it, and when they did the entire room smelled like sewer gas. We only had one evening left so we decided to just live with it. Woke up the next morning to a cockroach that was 2 inches long walking across our bedroom floor! Lastly, the pool was refreshing as the heat was at 100 degrees during our stay. Not enough chairs for everyone, made lounging difficult and not very relaxing. Breakfast was fine. We were so looking forward to our stay and were so disappointed.
“Very unique hotel”
Hotel was in great location. Wish we got a map at check in because we definitely got lost walking around but I guess that is the whole adventure in it. A little confusing to find room at first but no problem after the 3rd/4th time. Hotel has a lot of charm you don't get at chain hotels. You can tell it is an older hotel but it wasn't dirty. Room we stayed in was biggest in Spain. Had the breakfast included in rate and it was a good selection of items and good good. Restaurants all around hotel and a pharmacy next door. Check out the roof where the pool is located.
“Good Hotel/Bad Beds”
This hotel was very interesting! Loved trying to find our room through all the tunnels, etc! We got the romance package, and I did not really know what this meant. When we arrived we found out it meant breakfast and another meal each day, plus a water spa treatment and a bottle of cava in our room! The food was wonderful, as was the spa treatment in beautiful tiled pools! The only problem was the condition of the room..furniture a bit shabby, but the worst was the bed.,,old, hard, lump;y pillows..This was my only complaint of an otherwise very cool hotel, but it is enough to make me question if I would stay there again as a good night's sleep is very important to a traveler!!
“terrific Seville Hotel”
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent. I liked the fact that it comprised of a number of old houses that together make up the hotel. My room had a view of a beautful courtyard and was very quiet. It all feels authentic old world Seville. I found the staff helpful and the breakfast good. My only misgiving would be that the plumbing was a bit antiquated, but it all worked and fitted in with the general ambience of thehotel. I would cheerfully stay here again.
“Unique, charming”
Casas de la Juderia is a single hotel, created from several ajoining houses. As a result it is like no hotel we have ever stayed at. There are courtyards and fountains around every corner. The room was large and comfortable with a very nice bathroom (big, clean, good water pressure). The beds were comfortable, although they creaked. The staff was very nice and helpful. We opted for the included breakfast, and it was worth it. Every afternoon there is a piano player in the sitting room. It is a very pleasant place to sit for a while with a drink after a long day of sightseeing. The only issues were electrical. The TV was old and had an intermittently functioning remote. It did not get as many channels as we had in Madrid and Barcelona. Maybe there are fewer channels in Seville. Also there was no wifi in the room. Otherwise, the hotel was just great
“Great Location, But Pricey For Quality”
You can't beat the location of this hotel, but the quality of service doesn't rate the high price. Like most hotels in Spain, the star rating is exaggerated by one star too many.
“Seville Hotel”
Good service and fine facility, but our room was located in an "across the back street" adjunct building. This had the effect of making us feel isolated from the main portion of the hotel and its public rooms (lobby, bar/parlor, restaurant) without going through a labyrinth of underground passages or a long walk around the block. Recommend that a stay would be much more enjoyable if rooming is done in the hotel's original, main building.
