"Once we got there, we really enjoyed our visit. Breakfast was awesome and the room was nice. The staff very friendly. The construction in Honfleur during May 2026 made access to the hotel challenging, even on foot, since several streets which would normally afford access were closed. This should all be temporary. The hotel did a nice job of e-mailing and trying to advise on best places to park and how to get to the hotel."

"Two things stand out for me about this hotel. Firstly the rooms are bare. There are no cupboards or drawers and the space to use computers,etc is minimal. In the bathroom there are no amenities. I should point out however that there is free tea and coffee available in the lobby and a water fountain. However I’m sure most people like the idea of starting the day with a tea or coffee in the room before having their wash and getting dressed. This is a hotel which is innovative when it comes to room servicing. If you don’t want your room serviced (and most of the time it’s not necessary for a couple of days stay) there is a small pouch you hang on your door before 2am. When you bring it back in in the morning it contains a mix of gifts, in my case a small bottle of juice, a small pot of jam and some biscuits. Certainly a novel idea and more likely to get guests to pass on cleaning than hanging a card on the door."

Hôtel Le Rituel Honfleur

"We loved how close the hotel was to the centre of Honfleur. It was the main reason for booking. It was so good to leave the car parked safely at the hotel and be able to walk into town for a few drinks and then be able to stroll back home in the late evening sunshine. Our room was comfortable with a large bed. My pillow was a bit too hard though. The room - 106 - was at the front of the property. If you are a light sleeper, try to get a room that faces the pool at the rear as the noise from the road was quite noticeable early in the morning. Also a kettle would have been great and some larger cups too. Not everyone wants a just espresso all of the time."
