The rate for $260.00 is very expensive for a small town. Clearly over rated. No staff on site. Getting the keys and returning it are all automated. Property /Room was pretty much very ordinary.

Comfy beds!
Very comfy beds which was sorely needed after a long drive and 24 hour checkin via kiosk was so convenient! Drove past their other property in Bridgewater too. It’s a clever concept and a breeze via the kiosk. Booked during long weekend and last minute.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting sea lake. Above than our expectations. They all go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.The sevice was exceptional as well. from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful

Good place to stay, but road noise some times
We were the only ones there on the first day! It is a good place, but since next to Calder Freeway, some times noisy.

Check in was automated based on your online booking. Unfortunately, the proximity of the main road, road noise, especially freight trucks ( and freight trains) was quite loud at night.

Thanks for Staying. Yes this little motel is on the highway. It has been here for 75 years. We are so very thankful for the Traffic as during covid there were no cars or trucks and it was erie and very sad. Safe travels. We only get one Train a year so that too is very exciting for us.

Poor service put us in a bad mood.
The contactless checkin was very disappointing. Our television did not work and there was no- one available onsite to assist. We wasted two hours trying to sort it out and had to ask to be moved to another room via the phone. The queen room was more comfortable than the triple as the triple had a connecting door to another room and you could hear everything that they were saying. This Motel is not ideal for people who like face to face good old customer service.

Motel was clean and tidy. The check-in was completely done via a automated 24 Hour check-in system. Simple to use and easy to pay via credit card. No staff were present at site. The sms saying thanks for leaving the room so neat after leaving was most welcome. The room did have a mini bar, with basics. Also included in the stay was some breakfast cereals. No other breakfast option was available. I would be happy to stay again.

Very comfortable - everything we needed and more. Especially liked the extra milk and coffee supplied and the included bottled water. The little things make such a difference. Will definitely stay again

Clean and spacious
We are a family of 4 (12 and 15 year old kids) Everyone found the cottage to be spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for all of us to have a pleasant stay. The car was parked right in front of the property so was only a step or two to the front door. I would recommend this cottage for families looking for a clean and well kept place to stay.

I’ve stayed in a LOT of small country motels around Victoria Australia and this place was nearly twice the price of most others and half the quality. It was small and cramped and the bed was terribly soft and left me with an aching back. Also hard to sleep due to how loud the wall unit was. The only thing I liked was the self check in.

Great place to kick off your silo trail or if you’re passing through town. Clean with all the amenities you need including swimming pool. Even an electric car charging station. Staff really friendly and helpful with handy tips on places to stop on the way.

The motel was not new but had been refurbished well. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was surprised to not hear the trucks travelling all night on the highway seeing as the motel is right next to the highway. We could hear them if we listened for them. They didn't keep us awake at all.

We only stayed one night on a trip to South Aust. The room was small but very clean. We received an email to say to say it was self check-in ( had not done that before ) however, on arrival we were met by Helen. She was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this motel.

Location good only 7 min to Lake Tyrrell. Didn’t meet any staff but Helen was helpful when we phoned her for direction. Check in and out was easy. I hope staff are around during the day. God’s creation was amazing even in a vast lake with little water but shows such beauty in our photos. Must go to experience the awesomeness!!!
