The bar is probably the most fascinating room at the Inn and never fails to amaze first time visitors. The old oak servery with its gleaming brass beer engines immediately stands out, whilst opposite the large inglenook fireplace makes its big presence felt, particularly in the colder months with its roaring fire. A viewing panel shows off the working cellar and its Roman floor. Old settles and pews create further interest, whilst there is a splendid collection of horse brasses too.
