This is my second visit but this time I have the ocean view, when I like the place I always go back, I love the container van room its modern, clean and nice bath, price is not bad, good food, the only minor issue was our room comes with 2 beds, the single bed comes with a soft blanket but the big one only have a rough blanket, I told one of the staff for a soft one but forgot to bring me one, anyways it was still a good stay.

Worst hotel I have ever been around the world with that price. The toilet doesn’t flush properly; we have to fill the tank four to five times to flush it. Complaint about it the first day and the maintenance guy said we should put any toilet paper on it. Fine, the next day it happened again without toilet paper! I went to the reception and complained about it asked to changed room but they said they’ll send a maintenance. We waited an hour to have it fix together with the faucet on the sink which is broken and have to be replaced. For three days we have to suffer flushing the toilet many times!

Luckily there is a very nice swimming pool
Very nice swimming pool. Super friendly staff. Quality of the preparation of the food in the restaurant was however not great. The aircon was very noisy, but staff was very helpful to reduce the noise (vibrations) a bit with using tape.

Bantayan Island trip
Everything was great. Beautiful area. Service in the restaurant was a little slow for my liking, but I am in a different country than mine. All and all it was great.

Good Value for Money: Recommended
Clean sand beach, clean water, pleasant room with comfortable bed, demand hot water shower, good a/c. Had to r/q room make-up. SantaFe is 5 min/PhP20 pp trike trip with multiple dining selections and limited entertainment. Family friendly. Only one ATM in town, and it was very cranky! Go to market for fresh fruits and danggit. Don’t buy from shops on street Wifi very bad, even in reception area.

We loved our ocean view room! From sunrise to sundown, nothing can compare to the refreshing and relaxing feeling that we have experienced. All the staff are courteous, helpful and accommodating in every way. Love to come back next time we’re in Bantayan.

It is a beautiful resort, on the beach. The beds were comfortable, and rhe lounge chairs on the beach were the perfect place to spend the day.

Great food at the restaurant
The beach at Santa Fe isn’t as nice as other destinations, however we used the pool in the resort instead. The accommodation are converted shipping containers, but they are comfortable. The food at the onsite restaurant was awesome. We tried some of the restaurants in town, but found the food at the resort was better.

Can you sleep with a dripping sink all night?
It is a good idea to explain amenities a bit clearer. We got charged for bringing ice to our room from the dining area?? Really??? The sink leaked a drip the entire time. The toilet ballast was broken, and the shower door did not slide along the rail correctly. The people and wait staff were friendly, but it only makes sense to make sure all appliances and fixtures are in proper working condition for the customer before check in.... COMMON SENSE.

We arrived on a perfect day and was welcomed by the staff. The place was awesome and we had a great time. The security folks were genuine to keep you safe and very respectful. Some of the restaurant staff may need some experience/training so customers dont wait too long waiting for them. The restaurant have a great selection of food to keep you in the complex. I miss this place already and will definitely will consider coming back in the near future.

The place is very peaceful place and great place to relax. The place is clean , beach is beautiful. There is no phone in the room and if you want or need something you have to look for staff to help or ask the guard to assist you.

Really great place and an awesome beach
I was thoroughly impressed with this resort. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was great, and most of all the beach was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't get enough of the water. The whole island is nice. Very quaint with friendly people. I liked it much better than Boracay.

This hotel is okay, but should remove the word "resort" from its name. It's more like a motel with a pool and a restaurant. The shipping containers are quite bare bones. Don't expect them to be terribly comfortable. However, the patio was a nice size, and well furnished. The restaurant is not great. Not awful, but after our first meal there, we avoided it. We arrived after a storm, so the beach, although lovely, was filthy. This wasn't the resort's fault, and to their credit, they worked during our entire stay to remove the garbage and debris from the beach. Overall, if you adjust your expectations from "resort" to more like "motel," you'll avoid disappointment.

Best Hotel in Bantayan
Amazing Resort in Bantayan. It is a family run business hotel and the staff are super friendly. Andy did fix the whole transportation from Cebu to Bantayan and everything went as expected. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone. The food they serve is also delicious.

Had great stay. Hotel is located on a nice stretch of beach. Pool is big and clean food was good and reasonably priced. Air conditioning was working perfectly.

Great room overlooking the beach. Loved it
Overall great experience Spent many hours on our beachfront balconey. All staff floating around were fantastic but reception staff could be more friendly and helpful they were not very accommodating

The staff at the Anika Island Resort is horrendous. They got our reservations wrong after I'd called the previous dayto confirm and therefore got charged for nights that were unused, and they seemed to care less and didn't even apologize or offer any concessions for the inconvenience. The staff was usually looking bored or applying makeup/brushing their hair whenever I walked by the front desk, and acted like I was bothering them if I approached. Most notably, we put out the sign to make up our room in the morning when we went to the beach, and the room wasn't made up at 8 pm when we returned. There was no phone to call the desk so when I approached them to ask why the room wasn't made up, the front desk agent simply said, "I don't know." The other guests seemed to be having the same problems our group was, and beyond the nice beachfront location, I don't know how this property stays in business with such horrible service.

Disappointing hotel and island
Pleasant staff and lovely coconut trees within the resort. Comfortable beds. Decent enough food. Swimming pool under construction quite unsightly at the moment but will be a big plus once complete as the sea is only really suitable for swimming for a few hours during high tide. The beach is dirty with seaweed, various plastic rubbish and dog poo. The huts are made of corrugated steel and are very small and hot. The air conditioning is extremely noisy sounding like an old bus so you end up not being able to sleep either because of the noise or because of the heat when a/c switched off. No hand towels, no fridge, no kettle and no drink glasses in room. Much dust build up on the back of the TV, mouldy bathroom door, one night saw a live cockroach in the room managed to swat it with a flip flop, rats running around in the discarded rubbish behind the kitchen and lots of flies in the restaurant. Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like behind the closed doors. Annoyingly, breakfast not included in the room rate. 5% service charge added to all food orders but no one ever collects the empty plates until you vacate the table so you end up surrounded by food leftovers with flies feasting on them whilst finishing your drinks. The entire Bantayan island scattered with rubbish all over. Lots of ppl just sitting or laying idle outside their homes but no one making any effort to clean up. Needles to say, checked out one day early and left this place.

This resort has the value of your money.. the rooms are decent and I especially love the bedsheets they used.. the grounds were well kept and clean.. the resort staff were friendly & accomodating except for the people working in their restaurant who seemed a bit grouchy and impolite.. other than that, i'd go back and recommend this resort to others..

They dont inform their customers about paying the tours and extra services in cash so be careful if your idea is paying in the hotel with credit card because you cannot and the nearest ATM in the island is 30 km far from the hotel. They have to improve their client service and the manager of the hotel doesnt offer any solution.

The beach is nice. We got an ocean view room. However, the bathroom smelled bad, there were mosquitos in the room that bit us bad, housekeeping didn't clean the room very well. The beach though is very nice.

Nice Hotel
Anika Island Resort is closed to the port. Anika has a shuttle running between the hotel and the port. The staff are very friendly and the wifi is pretty fast comparing to other areas. Anika is a very simple hotel, with no western amenities. It's a great place to stay if you are looking to relax at the beach and enjoy great local food. If you are looking for pool, or beach side services, this is not the place.

Nice clean cottages, close to the beach
The offer free shuttle service, the staff were very nice and helpful, and the place was great. I've been to other resorts in the island during the island tour and I think Anika was one of the best. I didn't see a lifeguard though.

Good but could be improved.
Quite a nice little resort. Main issues: -no wifi in the rooms, for this price it should do! -one waiter in particular was very miserable and unwelcoming. -beach had rubbish and loads of cigarette butts on it around the loungers. -no side table near bed so phone had to sit on the floor. -little to do, no pool tables or entertainment at all. However, the food was good as was the shower and bed.
