“Great Honeymoon”
Great service and many other features to brag about. The stay is awesome. The jarves Suites are worth the visit.
“Lovely hotel”
Lovely hotel right in the middle of a quaint New England village. Very nice stay!
“A splendid stay in Sandwich!”
Wish we could have stayed longer! An absolutely clean room along with comfy beds. Wonderful restaurant too. Great visit!
“It is a quiet retreat in Sandwich MA.”
We did not see anything that would make this a destination hotel. It was clean, good service and quiet. The atmosphere in the main dinning room was comforting in that the gardens with the waterfall were visible from all the dinning locations. A seperate tavern bar and dinning room was also available for an informal setting. However, we can not reccmmend the food as being unusual or different from any other quality hotel. For example; the lobster advertised as 1 and 1/2 pounds was not more than 6 onces of actual meat. The shrimp was dry and spongey; not something you would expect from a New England town.
“As usual, the hotel was wonderful - we look forward to returning again and again.”
Not only is the hotel a great place to stay in a lovely little town, the food at the restaurant is amazing, rivaling many meals we have enjoyed at top restaurants in Chicago and New York. I would go back for the food alone! The garden outside the atrium is beautiful - breakfast there is a perfect way to start your day!

We stayed in a twin superior superior room in the main building.Lovely room ,comfy beds good bathroom very comfertable.Only minor crit the plumbing is a bit loud.Hotel has a traditional bar with bar food very good. Also restaurant and conservatory for fine dining also very good. The pool area is lovely and quiet surrounded by gardens and trees.Would definately go back and recommend the hotel. It is in the centre of sandwich which is a really nice place,To see it properly you need a car.
“Wonderful hotel in a great location.”
The Dan'l Webster is a wonderful historic hotel. It is very comfortable with modern amenities without losing the charm of this landmark. The staff was excellent and very helpful. I will definitely be returning.
“Good location”
My husband and I stayed one night at the Inn and it was okay. I did think the carpets needed to be cleaned. We had a two room suite with Air Conditioning but it seemed the A/C in the bedroom was not working or didn't have a vent. That could have been an issue if it had been any hotter. There was a coffee maker in the room with real half and half, and there was a refrigerator but nothing in it. There was one bottle of water on the mantel. Oh, and the TV remotes did not work. I was a little disappointed, but we were only there for the one night. If we were going to be there any longer we would have spoken to the management, but it was only for the night.
“Comfortable hotel in a good location”
We stayed at the Dan'l Webster for 2 nights. We found the staff friendly and helpful on check-in and at breakfast, although it was a shame that they could not accommodate our request to have breakfast served before 8am on the day we needed to check out (although this might have been because we were there 'out of season'). The location was good for exploring the Cape and getting there from Providence. We had an enormous room which was clean and had all the expected facilities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
“May 2012 - Visit Cape Cod Areas”
We loved the character and "old world" appearance and attitude of this hotel, it's history and the great staff added to the experience.
