"We had a relaxing stay in this peaceful location. The house is well equipped and very clean. Susana our host lives nearby and checked in with us via text. She was friendly and not intrusive. The pool kept our children entertained. There is plenty to do in the area if you dont mind a drive. The only issue was the patchy internet which cannot be helped given the rural location. We were happy to disconnect for a while and relax. We would book again."

"We booked a place to stay that it was horrible! Then, we were lucky to find this hotel, Jose Régio in Portalegre. A great place to stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful (we got a flat tire and do not speak Portuguese!) The place is very clean and comfortable."
