Staff was amazing! Room was ice cold and very clean. Had a separate living room, separate shower, and separate toilet area. Double vanity sinks separate as well, I was impressed with the price. Nice TV and a sofa bed, beds were pretty cool

Super great value
Wow -what a gem. Great price for a clean, spacious, comfortable place to sleep. It's a dorm room - but what a great value. Only complaint was not knowing the gates to the campus would close on the weekend. A little advanced warning of this with written directions to the alternate entrance would have been VERY helpful. I would recommend for the budget-wise traveller.

We could not get in because gate was locked. We had to go to town, and a nice couple took us there. There was another entrance. The other problem was that we called, and no one answered. The number was correct because we tested it once there. The stay was nice. Just fix those problems. Thanks.

I made a mistake and book this in another country and they took my money and wouldn't give me my money back or even try to get me some where in the USA states for the money they took money I would never use them again this is a bunch of crooks and very dishonest company so I will people don't use this because if you make a mistake in booking somewhere they will not make it right but they will take your money anyway

Although our cancellation policy stipulates that you have 48 hours before the day of arrival to make a cancellation without cost, because your reservation and cancellation were made on the same day, we proceeded to cancel it without cost. If you visit the expedia page where you made your reservation, you will notice that your stay is free of charge. Once again we regret the situation and we reiterate ourselves at your service for future occasions.

Limpio, tranquilo, con facilidades de nevera, microondas, blower, plancha, agua caliente. Lo único q no estaba disponible fue la lavadora para lavar la ropa de playa. Recomendado si quieres estar en un lugar económico, limpio, seguro, aunque un poco retirado de las playas pero si te gusta explorar pueblos y conocer nuevos rumbos es perfecto.

After many years, I was back in PR for a week...
Great accommodations. It is a great alternative and should continue expanding their offer. The only two concerns is food availability and parking They should consider a small in campus cafeteria or similar. A parking should be considered rather that parking on the street. Next time in the area, I will stay there!

this place has been closed since March!! how do they not know this? waste of time at 7:00 pm when there is a curfew. now i have to wait to get my money put back on my card.

We greatly regret the inconvenience caused, however due to COVID-19, since the facilities of the University Hostel are located within the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, we have not been allowed to open the facilities, according to the executive order of the government of Puerto Rico.For this reason, your reservation was not confirmed by our hostel prior to your arrival. Regarding your payment, our facilities do not charge in advance, so no cost has been charged to your credit card.

Will be back; good value
If you’re looking for a clean place with a nice hot shower, a room with a/c and a comfortable bed, this is it. There are no frills, no bar and no restaurant. It is a comfortable college dorm that provides all the basics: toiletries, ironing board, hairdryer etc. It’s a place to say goodnight after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Not a lot to do in San German after hours anyway. The boys may get a little noisy at night but, hey, you’re in an all-male college dorm.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Horrible rooms, no view to the outside. Very old structure and very difficult to get to. They close gates at 5pm so if you get there after 5pm you will need help getting to the open area where you go through security as if you are going to the White House. First time shame on them second time shame on me, NEVER AGAIN!!!

So this hostel is on a university campus which is great for safety but a night the main gates are closed so it was a bit hard to get in. The staff was super friendly and kind. The rooms itself were very clean, but they are basically dorms.

The place is located in a university campus so there are several entrances. But only one is open so it is not convenient to get there. The staff is super nice and helpful. The room is nice size and clean. But the facilities are kind old, we had a AC that made noise all night long.
