“Great place to stay in San Francisco”
We stayed at this boutique hotel for five days and found it to be fabulous. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The beds and rooms were very comfortable, and hot chocolate and wine tasting in the Lobby daily made for an inviting atmosphere. The location, being near Fisherman 's Wharf, was very convenient to the tourist sights and shops of the Bay and Alcatraz .The hotel is just near the Cable Car tournaround so the trip to downtown is enjoyable, convenient and fun. Buying a 3 Day muni passport meant it was also cheap to hop on and off cable cars, buses and trams all day.We travelled with 3 teenagers and felt happy to let them wander off to explore the area on their own during the day. All in all a great stay in a great city.
“Can't wait to go back...”
We had decided to get away just for a day, do some sightseeing and shopping. This was the first time staying at this hotel, and we fell in love with the nautical theme in the lobby and in the rooms. The room was on the small side, but what it lacked in space it made up for in the comfortable bed and cleanliness. I think the best part of our stay was the complimentary wine tasting in the evening where we had a chance to mingle with other guests. We had a chance to try their special hot apple cider with whiskey...so good! We will definately be returning, and bringing ourt dog since we did not realize they were pet friendly.
“Want to go back, couldn't have asked for anything more.”
We had a great experience staying at the Argonaut. We only wished we'd stayed longer. Our two young kids loved it!
“Great Hotel!”
Argonaut is a great hotel! It's conveniently located in Fisherman's Wharf, very close to Ghirardelli Square. The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are so comfortable. I love the sailor theme!
“Great Place”
Overall, a very good experience. Very attentive. Wine hour a plus!
“comfort in SF”
Touristy location. Near transport and attractions
“Friendly staff, comfortable room”
Room was awesome, a king suite with plenty of space and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again, kimpton in my experience are the best hotels. One small thing...not really hotels fault but there must have been a small child in room above running back and forth which was a little annoying.
“Best hotel on Fishermans Wharf!”
Hands down, the best place to stay in Fishermans Wharf. Close to cable car station, Ghirardelli Square and many great places to eat!
“Second time there. Will go back for sure!”
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have enjoyed a room with a view like last time but the room was very clean and conveniently located. The hotel personnel is friendly to families.
“Home away from home.”
From the time you pull up to the time you leave, you feel welcome. Location is excellent for all of the SanFrancisco sites.
