When in Salta
Two days in Salta, and this is a great spot to stay. Across the street is a very fine restaurant, and ancient church, and a lot of downtown activity. Recommended.

Villa Vicuna was very clean. Staff was great. I loved that this was an old house. On the downside, I had a very tough time finding it with all the one-way streets, and once I did find it, I had a hard time finding parking. Also, I had trouble with the Internet. Initially, it was fine, but it started cutting out. I'd be one the Internet for literally one minute, and it would disconnect. I'd have to reconnect and try again. When I mentioned I was having problems with the Internet cutting out, the guy at the front desk jumped on his computer, then told me, "No, it works great." If it weren't for finding the place and the Internet, I would have given this five stars.

Overall very nice hotel with the room being a good size and well furnished. The area was OK with a cafe and restaurant nearby so the lack of dinner served by the hotel wasn't an issue. Service fine with the receptionist going out of her way to help us get the car parked in a nearby garage - rate reasonable at about 140 Arg pesos per night (currently less than 3 GBP)

Quiet retreat
Apart from an initial hickup where they couldn’t find our booking, we had a great stay. It is in the most picturesque park of town and easy to walk to museums, restaurants etc. The room was beautifully decorated and the garden was a great place to relax in the afternoon.

Deluxe Boutique Hotel
Lovely hotel with a lot of character with a beautiful Colonial style (Spanish). Beautifully decorated. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Room was spacious and well furnished. Bed very comfortable. The safe was a bit small, laptop didn’t fit. Overall a great stay.

Amazing!!
Amazing and cute hotel. Best beds we ever had, rooms are stunning, decoration is just perfect. The breakfast was super tasty and you can even have it super early in the morning.

Mooi kleinschalig verblijf midden in het centrum van Salta. Ontbijt moet je de avond van te voren opgeven (1 gerecht) het buffetje heeft geen extra hartige waren, wat jam. Personeel vriendelijk. Prachtige tuin met terras (geen barfaciliteiten in het hele hotel) ligbedden en zwembadje.

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel. Gute, zentrale Lage. Parkgarage gegen Gebühr um die Ecke. Kleiner Pool in sehr gepflegten Garten. Salta hat uns nicht gefallen, das einzig schöne war dieses kleine Hotel.

Gefallen hat uns: der Boutique-Stil, der schöne Garten, die herragende Lage (400 m zum Hauptplatz, 20 Gehminuten zum Busterminal). Das gebuchte Zimmer hatte kein Fenster und der Geruch nach frischer Farbe machte einen Zimmerwechsel nötig (kostenloses Upgrate). Das Frühstück war insgesamt eher bescheiden. Im Winter sind die Außenzimmer Richtung Garten kalt. Die Klimaanlage packt es kaum zu heizen.

Étape à Salta
La ville de Salta est une étape agréable pour découvrir le Nord mais 2 à 3 jours suffisent amplement pour découvrir le centre. La situation de la Villa Vulcana est parfaite. Grande gentillesse du personnel, propreté et décoration de très bon goût. Excellent rapport qualité /prix.

Nice enough for 1 or 2 nights to explore the city of Salta. Excellent location, beautiful quiet location. Good bed, average breakfast. The pool is too small for a swim, just to cool off after a warm day.
