"This place is the best we have stayed at in UK. It is not only beautiful and comfortable but the innkeepers have thought of every possible thing. Great bath, nice kitchen, great bed and towels. I appreciated how green the paper goods and soaps are. Great place"
"Check in was easy and very welcoming, room and en-suite was warm and very clean, tea, coffee, biscuits, hairdryer even a shoehorn
Evening meal was really nice and handy they had a little bar as the nearest pub means you will need to drive
Breakfast was also very nice and plenty of it
Would highly recommend this B & B"
"Great little guest house. We had a top floor room for 3, and everything was in the room. Only issue was that the double bed was Farr too soft and uncomfortable, causing my wife and I to roll together in the middle whenever we moved. Breakfast was continental, served in room and was good. "
"The room was quite modern & comfortable especially considering the building is -800 years old. The location is fabulous. Chris checked us in & was very helpful, as were the other members of staff. We highly recommend the Chapter House to anyone who appreciates a hotel with a bit of character."
"Fabulous room opening onto a lawn directly on the river right across from the cathedral spire.
Deicious food and service.
Wonderful staff.
Great parking."

Slept really well,
"The hotel staff are really nice very helpful my room was on the 3rd floor was like a maze to find it the room it self was clean and basic with tea/coffee. Room was a great size bathroom very small ( nothing the hotel can do about that ) the double bed was really nice good size nice warm bedding with great pillows. Black out curtains would be nice as the ones let in loads of light. Nothing bad, breakfast was good as well definitely worth the money before leaving. All in all very good I’ll be using again
Hotel is a little dated yet for the price your paying to stay what more can you ask for "
"Lovely stay, only downside was our bed had broke but once I told reception they sorted us and moved us to another room all within 15mins so amazing service from the man in reception who I didn’t catch his name unfortunately.

"We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"
