"We had a fantastic stay at the Pestana Alvor Praia Premium Resort. Our room had a lovely ocean view and the loungers on our balcony were a welcome touch to enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day. The hotel has direct access to a beautiful white sand public beach where we enjoyed swimming and exploring the rocks and caves along the coast. There are private canopies and loungers available for rent with a small discount for hotel guests. This was worth the fee to have some shade and be off the hot sand.
We really enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet that was included; with hot and cold options, lots of fresh fruit and juices, mimosas, lattes etc Great choice available!
The hotel itself was very clean and the staff are excellent; cheerful and helpful. We didn’t catch his name but the young man at reception who checked us in was outstanding and made our stay! Would highly recommend this hotel!"
