I recommend going to Rovanemi in the winter. The town is a bit of a construction zone in preparation for winter during autumn.
Great place to visit
Enjoyed our stay at Rovaniemi especially the activities that we did like visit to husky and reindeer farms, sleigh rides, visit to Santa Claus, snowmobiling and skiing.
Beautiful place, didn't want to leave. The city had plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Information centre was very helpful. Safartica was amazing to book tours through. Absolutely love the place!
