i was only in the room to sleep at night and it was everthing I required. the staff were very friendly with every and all queries I had.

The staff were very friendly and went over the top to help out. Our room was really nicely renovated and was very clean. Cool retro decor!!

The couple who ran the hotel could not do enough to help, to the point they helped us with things we hadn't even realised we needed help with, like how to get to the geothermal park, how to ring to confirm our booking at a maori heritage centre and what time the supermarket across the road closed! The room was very comfortable - we had a superior room with a spa, and it was even better than we imagined if I'm being honest!!There was a little glass of bubble bath left besides it every day for us, and plenty of toiletries (which was good for people like us who travel light). The kitchen was fully equipped with pans, plates, crockery, everything we could ever need really. Would definitely stay there again!

We were not at the hotel long so the size of the room was not an issue. Staff were great and helpful. Room was tasteful. Value for money. Wished I had time for a swim it looked great.
