“Beach of Light”
Playa de la Luz is exceptional. The location is great - on the ocean with an expansive beach. A national park is literally next door, with miles of board walks along the ocean. Close to great restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff superior. This is a classic property, so do not expect the amenities of newer luxury properties - but I viewed this as a plus. I would definitely choose Playa de la Luz again. A+

“Excellent hotel in Rota, Spain”
I spent three nights at this hotel and had an enjoyable stay. There are several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, Pelo Pincho was the best. The room was large and clean, it had fast internet, and the hotel had a beautiful pool with a nice bar next to it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

All I can say is Wow, right on the beach, service is great. Food was even better. Pool is great. I will stay here again next Summer.
“First choice if we ever get back to Spain”
This was the best Hotel on our vacation by far. The room was terrific, the grounds magnificent , the staff friendly and helpful, the room and grounds spotless, the breakfasts the best ever, right on the sandy beach, close to town. Also, the rate was fantastic for such a beautiful hote. Would absolutly recomment to all.
“Rota's best hotel”
Yes, we would go back to it. The breakfast was great the access to the beach was awsome. The hotel was beautiful. The maid service was wonderful. The only thing that was not so great is that the out door pool was cold.
“Top quality hotel near Rota, Cadiz”
Top quality hotel, right on the beach near Rota, Great location, exellent staff, service, & lovely food.
“Stay at Playa de la Luz whenever I get a chance!”
The only problem with this hotel is the location. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the downtown area. There is a bus that runs right in front, but the service shuts down at around 10 or 11 o´clock. I love this hotel and stay there whenever I have a chance. It is right on the beach!!
“Relaxing hotel”
Hotel Playa de la Luz is a good hotel for families. A short drive to Sanlucar offers amazing tapas at Casa Balbino.
“Great for the Beach”
Great hotel if you want to be right on the beach. We switched the last three days to La Espadana which are all apartment hotels. MUCH BETTER for longer stays - you get a kitchen private bedroom, living room and all the services of other hotels - but it is not directly on the beach.
