"We loved it!!"
The hotel staff was great, the rest was amazing, the pool was fantastic, the food was so very good. It was a little distance away from the city center but was well worth the decision, shuttle access, taxi on site, walking distance to smaller areas of Rome. The property was very quiet and well kept. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

"THE Waldorf Astoria, Rome"
Checked out a day early and didn't have anyone inquire as to why. Also, they lost an airport pillow, no biggy though. BY FAR the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed at bar none. Great food, great staff/service, great pool. If you haven't stayed at the Waldorf before (NYC etc) be prepared to pay 9€ for a fanta or 36€ for a margarita pizza. Compared to most restaurants where they charge 8€ for the pizza and 3€ for the fanta. Not at all a detriment but could catch some people off guard if you didn't do your research.

"Great hotel with good price!"
Even though I liked the hotel we did not have such a pleasant experience on the first 2 days. A group of Italian teenagers came and stayed up until 2am kicking and screaming some of the doors which they broke. The management allowed them to be at the pool until midnight and they were smoking, drinking, and yelling! I found that the management did not consider the remaining guests and I found that just wrong. We made 2 complaints and they changed us to a different floor level as we had our 6 years old with us. We were in the same floor level as those teenagers. After they left the hotel it was a much pleasant stay but I felt that the management failed to help everyone else as the pool is only open until 7pm and they allowed those kids in there until midnight.

"Nice hotel, bit tired, good pool ................."
Lovely comfortable clean rooms, good breakfast, good selection of all you could hope for including a hot choice. Hotel is tired, needs re-fit, new carpets etc, but then it probably would have been out of our price range. Excellent service with bus going to and from Rome, 1.50 euro each way per person, can add up. Pool opens at 9.30 am and close 19.30 pm so if, like us you are thinking of a nice cool down once returning from a days sight seeing you are going to be disappointed. Nothing nearby, at all and restaurant on the pricey side, 20 euro cheapest main meal.

"Close to the Airport"
This is a large property some 500 rms, I think. The room itself was large and spacious. The bed was most comfortable. We were surprised that breakfast was not included. If you want breakfast, be sure you check the ammenities. There is a shuttle to the airport and one to the central city. Both were very handy services.

"great retreat close to Rome"
This was our fourth visit here with guests. We love the beauty and quiet of the hotel. This year a wedding was also hosted here at the same time. This challenged the tranquility of the hotel. As. Band played outside our window until 12 pm. The restaurant was used by the party and our meal in an alternate room provided disjointed service and substandard meals. The staffs professionalism in dealing with our concerns saw our complaints dealt with quickly and with result. Not every stay can be exceptional, but the consistent customer service brings these missteps a 5 star.
