"Great service"
Hotel staff and service were great. We brought our two-year old toddler at short notice and they found a suitable family room (with a separate area for the cot), helped with the preparation of evening meals, provided a teddy and child slippers as a welcome gift and booked a childminder. Great location, superb terrace overlooking the Villa Borghese park, and a stone's throw from the Spanish steps.

"Fantastic hotel - would definitely recommend!"
Lovely hotel - perfect for our 4 day stay in Rome. Great location - 10 minutes from Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain and 20 minutes from the Coliseum. Hotel itself is lovely - fantastic decor, wonderful staff and lovely food and drink. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Rome.

"Great hotel close to all attractions"
Excellent short break. Great hotel which was centrally located. Everything within walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby which we're very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go again.

"Good location, Good Hotel and Exceptional service-despite some of the reviews here!!!!"
Right let me start of by telling you how hard it was to find this little gem amongst the rubbish available in Rome!!!I read an extensive range of online Roman hotel reviews and from recommendations from Italian friends, Hotel Saint Paul seemed like an excellent option. …. And boy was I happy with my selection! The hotel itself is around 8-10 mins walk from Basilica San Paolo station. When you have been walking around the entire city all day a short walk to the hotel from the station will not be an issue despite some reviews on this site. The station is also relevantly placed on Line B which during the engineering works (till 2012) remains open till late. The hotel is clean, tidy, and modern and feels really fresh. The hotel staffs were exceptionally professionally, helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet has a huge selection of continental food to set you up for the day, and on a Saturday served till 11am. The rooms are clean and tidy, could be a little more spacious (but you are in the middle of a inner city tower block). The only few down sides were the one single small window, so use this as an excuse to get out the room and explore the city! My partner and I were sharing two twin beds joined together, which during the night would shuffle apart. The TV channels are in italian, again another excuse to get out and see Rome. But my biggest issue was with the no free WIFI, this should be a standard not an addition to the price, cause European data costs a lot!!

"Great location, perfect! Good cleanliness & staff."
Great central location, unfortunately the hotel has suffered water damage to some areas which is a real shame! However our room was great! One or two old fixings still on walls but nothing greatly off putting, room clean, nicely decorated, bed was comfy! Not that it mattered after walking / sightseeing all day! If you are looking for somewhere comfortable, nicely decorated, perfect city location, easily walking distance to all attractions & great nearby restaurants / cafe's at a great price look no further. The outside is great, understated but stylish as well, surrounded by many pricey hotels! Would definitely go back & recommend to anybody!

"Gay friendly hotel."
Generally pleased with our stay. Staff could have been a little more friendly, but were otherwise fine. Was a gay friendly hotel. The area is a bit rough. but if you're just using it as a base its absolutely fine, close to termini.

"I would stay here again on my next visit to Rome"
This hotel was located a block away from St. Peters Square/Basilica and as soon as you exited you could see the dome. The hotel is also along a bus route that will take you right to the Coliseum and the hotel staff know exactly where the stop is and how much it is to ride the bus, this information was very useful! It's a 20min walk from the closest metro stop but you get to walk by St. Peters to and from so I really enjoyed the view all the time. The bathtub was exquisite, I needed to soak my aching feet and lower back and the back of the tub slopes so you can comfortably lie in the water without trying to position your neck over a traditional straight back bathtub. The shower head was AMAZING and the pressure brilliant. The brunch buffet in the mornings had a lot of choices which was wonderful. The room was incredible and clean, the wardrobe that was offered was cute and cozy, the safe was easy to use, and the bed was soooooooo comfortable.

"Nice clean low cost hotel in centre of Rome"
Small but clean and comfortable rooms. Bathroom small and spotless. I would recommend this hotel for your visit to Rome. There are a few good bars and restaurants close by and would recommend Marconi's just around the corner (Food Excellant).
