“Good choice for early flight”

From airport a 5 minute 17 euro ride by cab. Small hotel but room was great. Stafff very helpful and friendly. Next morning a cab was waiting at 5:15 AM for departure to airport (15 Euro). all arrangeed by hotel. They also provided a breakfast in a bag because of my early flight. Would definitely use again. Great value for the money

Hotel Seccy was very clean and comfortable. Good restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. Great if flying out early from airport since able to reach in 7 minutes with taxi. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were looking for a hotel close to the airport, but where we could still enjoy our last evening in Italy. We chose the Seccy because of the location (5 min drive to the airport), the advertisement that there was "complimentary shuttle service," and most importantly, the Expedia reviews. The hotel description says "complimentary airport shuttle." When we checked in, I was told that the airport shuttle is not complimentary and that we would have to pay 15 Euro. The town is not as described by some guests on this site. Fiumicino is a fishing town, which is fine, however, its not a nice area and there's graffiti everywhere. hotel was nice enough, clean, but it was very difficult to find and the surrounding neighborhood didn't give us a good feeling. Also, the WIFI signal was hardly detectable in our room. If you are looking for accommodations for 1 night before departing Rome, I recommending spending the extra money and staying at the Airport Hilton. No shuttle required and its a well-known hotel brand. On the bright side, we were searching for a cheap place to eat in Fiumicino and happened upon a small, hole-in-the-wall, pizza joint. They served the best calamari we've ever had! Furthermore, the rest of our stay in Italy was a wonderful experience that we will never forget. I look forward to our return.

“Not Sexy's, byt Seccy's”

This is an absolutely charming small hotel on the outskirts of the Rome, Italy, airport. We stayed there rather than fight traffic to the airport from mid-city Rome for a morning flight. Wonderful rooms; wonderful staff; wonderful breakfast. Thanks, Seccy's

“Much better than the 2 Hiltons at the airport”

Not quite as comfortable as the 2 Hiltons at the airport but only a 15 euro cab ride away, much cheaper with far better service, and with excellent restaurants within walking distance.

“Great place to stay for the end of the trip in Italy, would like to go back!”

The girl working reception was very friendly and spoke english which was nice. The hotel was nice and clean with a free breakfast which was very nice (the breakfast was very nice as well as it being free). The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is located about two blocks from the beach which is another benefit. We spent almost all day walking on the beach and then had a nice dinner. The room was large and nice. A hotel staff member carried my bag up to the room and did not ask or seem to expect anything in return (I almost had to chase him down to give him a tip). You are about 5-10 minutes from the airport and there is a shuttle service which runs there on request for about $15 euros. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the hotel has maps and can give suggestions. Overall it was a very pleasing way to end our trip in Italy, My wife and I are glad I picked that hotel to stay at as it ended our trip on a very positive note!
