“FIND ANOTHER HOTEL FOR REST”
Its location is the only good thing that I can say about this hotel. My room was very very small, I surprised with the bathroom size, the smallest one I ever saw. Cleanliness of the room was not acceptable at all. I was happy that I had booked it just for one day. Due to my work I have settled in many hotels around the world and this hotel just stand in almost bottom of my list.
“Great stay”
We only stayed at the Hotel Piemont for one night prior to our cruise, but it was excellent. Very close to the train station, we easily dragged all our luggage the 3 blocks. Even though it was so close to the Termini, the neighborhood seemed nice, no worries from me at all. The staff was extremely friendly. They let us check in early as our flight arrived at 830am and we got to the hotel around 1030. We only had to wait a few minutes for them to clean a room. THe room was plenty big for a European room, very clean, bed was comfortable and they were prepared for the additional requests I had made when booking. Good breakfast and they have an additional coffee bar if you'd like to order a cappuccino. Would definitely stay here again for the friendly service and the ease of access to the train/metro to get around Rome.
“Three Nights in Rome”
Our hotel room was a bit small but we had a comfortable bed, a good AC, and a good shower. This hotel is in the perfect location. It is close to Termini Station (the train station) and the subway which is at the train station. There were a lot of restaurants in the area. Mama Angela's down the street is a great place. We went there twice.
“great location, simple and clean rooms”
I chose this hotel for a 1-night stay at the beginning and 2 nights at the end of an Italy adventure with my husband and mother because it's in a great location near Termini Station. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the station, and the airport SIT shuttle (FCO) also dropped us off and picked us up from Termini. The metro in Rome is limited to 2 lines (A and B), but we were thrilled that we could hop on that from Termini, too. The room was clean and simple-- a double bed for me and my husband, and a single for my mom. Breakfast was also simple but adequate: crossants, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. Check-in and out were easy, and staff was friendly and helpful, recommended budget-friendly places to eat nearby. This is a great hotel for a traveler on a budget who doesn't care about bells and whistles. We'd defnitely stay there again!
“Great Offer”
Excellent room in a great location for a great price. We were a party of three so the staff told us that our room was not in the hotel but around the corner. Anyway, it turned out that the hotel leases this floor in an apartment building. The floor was recently renovated and extremely clean. The rest of the building is not but that is OK. The only minor problem was the breakfast room, it was too small for the size crowd in the morning but the lady in the kitchen did an excellent job trying to keep everyone happy.
“Convenience....”
Room was clean but very small. AC & fan didn't work . We felt uncomfortable on surrounding neighborhood but great location , walk 5 mins. to Rome termini.
“Good value and close to transportation at Termini.”
Our hotel was just as described. It was close to Termini which was convenient for transportation. The few times we took a cab, it was easy just to say take us to Termini. They always knew how to get there and could give a price up front. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. The beds were very firm and I took my own pillow which I would recommend. We were so tired we slept well. This hotel was a good value and very clean. They also gave a room at the end of the hall and facing the rear courtyard when we asked for a quiet room.
“Would never return- not impressed”
Hotel rooms extremely noisey. Beds VERY VERY HARD- couldn't sleep much because of both. Staff unfriendly. Was very convenient in relation to public transport- buses and train station
“"Sense of Disappointment"”
As previously indicated, our experience was very mixed but ultimately disappointing
“Would stay again for sure”
Hotel Piemonte is only steps away from Roma Termini and so one has quick access to all national trains as well as to the Metro, taxis, and buses. The neighborhood around the train station definitely has some "sketchy" parts but I was out late at night and felt very comfortable. I can't vouch for the whole staff, but the gentleman at the desk helped me with all my questions. It helped that I spoke Italian, but he was ready for English too. Breakfast was ample and adequate. My room was very small, but I specified I was a single traveler. Many such rooms exist--just a twin bed and just enough room for one's bags, etc. But as a base for exploration, it was good.
