Glad we chose this hotel!Posted 29/08/2013
Pros: The breakfast was "off the charts", the hotel was clean and comfortable, all amenities were included....
Cons: Maybe a list of local restaurants could be made available, i felt bad "bothering" the staff asking for recommendations.
Location: It was close to the Borghese, TRevi fountain, spanish steps.....metro (which made it close to most anything else.)
The hotel was wonderfully located, near the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps and the metro stop! We were able to get around easily. the hotel staff was wonderfully helpful. They were so patient and understanding of all my questions! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome.

Very nice hotel in a great locationPosted 26/08/2013
Enjoyed my stay here very much. The hotel is VERY nice. Modern looking rooms and facilities. VERY nice dining room and quite a nice continental breakfast in the AM. The staff was great especially Maiko (she's a SWEETIE!!). Plus, the metro stop is about 50 feet from the door. VERY convenient for getting around Rome. It's walking distance to restaurants (right out the door) and other sights in Rome (Trevi, Spanish Steps). Would stay there again.

Great hotel for a familyPosted 29/07/2013
very good hotel and well positioned. The only negative was the 3 euro per person per night/day city tax. For 4 persons staying only 3 nights we were charged 48 euros. when i questioned the fact we only stayed 3 nights it was dismissed. The receptionist also insisted on payment by cash....why? I refused and paid by card. I also said in Sorrento we were only charged 14 euros for a 4 night stay....sounds like a hotel scam to me

hotel for family of 4Posted 27/07/2013 on Hotels.com
Great location. We had a family of 4 in 1 room. One king, one rollaway and a single pull-out couch so the room was all bed. Our friends (another family of 4) had a larger room with a sitting area so it was the luck of the draw. Overall though, a nice hotel, clean, quiet and well maintained.

Great location...Great Ambiance ... Great StaffPosted 14/06/2013 on Hotels.com
As always the Imperiale is the perfect Roman hotel. The location is superb, steps away from the metro and on chic via Veneto, and a very short walk to anything you'd want to be near in Rome. The facility is up-to-date, spotless and very comfortable, wtih tremendous charm and a relaxing ambiance. The staff, especially the front desk, is totally on-top of their job and work very hard to help their guests. You really can't do better in Rome.

Very nice but not greatPosted 31/03/2013
Very good and friendly staff and very good hotel but the beds and pilows did not match up to the 3 or 4 star standards for bedding that is no in the US, not even close, so I did not sleep as well as I would have liked. I also had to go to get US dollars exchanged for Euros at Spanish Steps, a 10 minute walk away. The other 2 hotels we stayed at in Italy provided this service at the front desk. In fact, the staff did not have the change over a 2 day period to even break a 50 Euro bill so we could get small enough bills to ride the metro to the Vatican. Breakfast started at 6:30 at the other hotels we stayed at but at the Imperiale we coul not eat breakfast on the last day since we had to leave at 6:45 to get to the airport. The did however provide a box of snacks for taxi ride to the airport. The breakfat however was quite good.

The Hotel Imperiale is located about a ten minute walk away from the Magical Trevi Fountain, the hotel itself is spotless and the receptionist can not do enough to help you, she will even tell you how much a taxi will cost to anywhere in the city. The hotel is spotlessly clean and is surrounded by good restaurants. We booked the hotel on the recommendation of a colleague and we were not disappointed. If we ever return to Rome, this is definitely the hotel we would book..

Convenient location & spacious room/bathPosted 23/10/2012 on Hotels.com
Amongst the hotel we stayed at in Italy, this is one of the best. Very convenient location, walking distance to all must see sights, restaurants, shops. Bedroom was very clean and spacious and so with the bathroom. I will definitely recommend this to friends and to our travel agent for her future bookings.
