We stayed at the Sheraton Golf Parco De' Medici Hotel for our Honeymoon. We originally booked a standard room, however after mentioning that we were on our honeymoon they upgraded us to a suite which was fantastic!
The hotel is situated between the airport and Rome city centre. It was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a cinema complex with some bars and restaurants near by if you choose to explore the area. Where this hotel is based there are 2 other Sheraton hotels. The Sheraton hotels provides a shuttle mini-bus between each hotel which is free!
The Hotel has a shuttle coach that operates at different times of the day to take you into Rome and bring you back. Really good value for money, no need to book at specific times so you can go at your own convenience.
Overall fantastic place to stay, only down fall is it you choose to eat at the hotel, the food and drink are pretty pricey. Then again, why eat there when you have plenty of places in Rome on your doorstep! :-)
Didnt get an email back about getting picked up from the airport, so arrived and had to find our own way there. Cost us more than the nights accommadation at the hotel. Hotel is in a cute little town. Great to see that side of Italy before heading into Rome. Room was nice, little, staff speak a little English. Got a free shuttle to the train station to catch into the city. Overall I would stay again as long as we got a transfer organized.

We stayed in an apartment with 1 bedroom and sofa bed in the living room, comfortable for a family with 2 teens. Kitchenette did not have enough silverware for 4 people though. Very friendly staff!!! You can even arrange laundry to be done.
5 mins walk to Pavona train station, 25 mins to Rome Termini by train, which goes about twice an hour, for 2-3 Euro.
Fantastic place to see Rome and the beach with a great pool to relax in after sight seeing. The pool could stay open a bit later than 6:00. The staff gave my daughter a birthday card with some free treats which was a lovely touch. The restaurant was great as was the shop. We would definitely recommend this place.
On Expedia it says the address being Via Firenze....but that's an old address!!
So we were shocked when we went in Via Firenze and after being checked in they told us the Apartment is actually near Vittorio Emanuele underground station!!!
The area is far away from Via Firenze and staff refused to take us theren by car or taxi.
The area is not nice at all, far from the city centre, rundown and doesn't look very safe at night!!
Luckily we stayed just 1 night at the end of our trip.
The apartment is really small(expecially the bathroom, where the sink is so high that unless you are at least 1.10m tall you can't use it!!!!) and uncomfortable...the bedroom is on an elevated floor, abve the living room!! The ceiling has been left rough and it looks scary!
One of the worst places where I've been in the world...and I can tell you I travel a lot due to my job!!!A shame for Italy!
