"Medium Sized Park"
Good entertainment for the kids and games for adults too. Excellent lagoon pool and slide. Second pool suitable for 8 years who can stand up with their head above water. Adults can swim in this pool. Third small shallow kiddies pool. The direct bus to Rome was handy but could have left earlier in the morning.

"Perfect for both Rome and the beach."
Fantastic place to see Rome and the beach with a great pool to relax in after sight seeing. The pool could stay open a bit later than 6:00. The staff gave my daughter a birthday card with some free treats which was a lovely touch. The restaurant was great as was the shop. We would definitely recommend this place.

"Stay here!!"
I cannot stress enough how well we were treated during our stay in one of the apartments. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he really went the extra mile to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. He even took care of out airline-delayed luggage without hesitation. The recently renovated room was very clean, with TV, air conditioning, a nice bathroom and a very comfy bed. We did not have any problems with the WiFi as some others have pointed out. Location-wise is difficult to find a better place than this. Literally less than 20m from the Coliseum. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and not only "tourist" ones, but also those that the locals go. All in all, we recommend this to everybody. We will definitely use it again when we go back to Rome.

"Great location and very nice hotel"
Great location only 5 minutes walk from the colosseum. Lovely big room with an entrance room (with table, wardrobe and safe), large bathroom and twin bedroom. Staff were very pleasant. Lovely view from the patio bar on the rooftop. Near to plenty of restaurants and gelato is only a 2 minute walk away! Would definitely stay here again - seemed to be in a reasonable area and felt safe walking back in the evenings.

"Steps to St Peter Square"
It is just steps to St Peter Square. Hotel is in a historical buildings and have old furniture, old dinning hall and paintings along the stairs. Room is in old style but the washroom is renovated. Hotel staffs are friendly, they speak fluent English and hard to practice my few Italian words. The have two Mac next to reception and WIFI throughout the building. Hotel is on a main street and walking distance to Metro and bus stations. The route between Metro and the hotel is well lit so you feel safe if you head back late to hotel.

"A real gem!"
I'm not one for sending reviews usually but after staying here I felt compelled to write one! Simply put this hotel is a gem and a real find!! This is a family run hotel and you can tell - from it's fantastic location (on the steps of the Roman Forum!!), to the lovely personal, welcoming and friendly service to the clean and modern furnishings and amazing attention to detail in the rooms which oozed comfort. It was literally the best and most comfortable sleep I had for my whole trip of 2 weeks! I only stayed here one night but wished I could stay more! Suffice to say that this is the place I'll definitely be staying when next in Roma and would thoroughly recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you to Antonio, Anna and Paulo for making my stay, albeit brief so wonderful and memorable!!!

"Superb Stay!"
Hotel Rex doesn't look too grand from the outside, but from the inside it is comfortable and pleasant, with superb staff. We arrived earlier than check-in and were immediately cared for by a courteous and friendly Italian receptionist, who spoke superb English. The lifts (there are 2) were each adequate for a couple with substantial luggage. We were on floor 2, which was ideal for us, but there were a few stairs down from the lift lobby to our corridor, which older or disabled patrons might find tricky. However, I have no doubt that hotel staff would be their accommodating selves in such cases. Our room was about average in size, but was comfortable and very clean. The décor looks as though it was done about 10 years ago (in terms of style), but it has been kept very well. The bed was comfortable and there was a room safe, which proved invaluable. Hotel WIFI easily reached the room, and there was an open-access computer available in the common room downstairs on which I was able to print out return flight boarding passes. Overall, for its price, this place is superb!
