"Fantastico!"
From the minute we walked in...we were awed by the beautiful, classic facilities...our first impressions were quite good, and they only got better as our stay went on. The front desk person: Elena, was so kind, and went out of her way to make us feel very special and welcome. When we got to our room, we were greatly impressed with both the size, and the comfort of our accomadations. Beware: the bed is so comfortable that you may never wish to leave it! We also appreciated the little touches of turn-down service with complimentary Italian bottled waters left at both bedside stands for us to enjoy. We liked looking at the little shops, many enjoyed listening to the live piano music while we sipped a cocktail and enjoyed snacks at the bar. We loved the breakfast, and liked that we could have several Cappucinnos, as well as so many fresh juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, yogurts...so many delicious choices to start the day! We also liked the complimentary Internet, and the complimentary van that the hotel provided us...which ran long hours up until 9PM to take you back to the hotel...it was great to save our dollars for shopping instead! Overall an AWESOME experience...definitely 5stars, with highest recommendations!

"Perfect for both Rome and the beach."
Fantastic place to see Rome and the beach with a great pool to relax in after sight seeing. The pool could stay open a bit later than 6:00. The staff gave my daughter a birthday card with some free treats which was a lovely touch. The restaurant was great as was the shop. We would definitely recommend this place.

"An amazing hotel just outside the city centre"
Me and my husband went to this hotel on a mini honeymoon break and we were not disappointed, we had such a nice time in this hotel, staff were every nice, helpful and accommodating to our wants and needs, layout was lovely, gym access very good (open from 5.30am) which for a gym bunny like myself this was perfect as then I could still have the rest of the day to enjoy and site see, easy access to the city by a shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Food was soooo yummy especially creations made by the hotel chefs. I would 100% recommend this hotel

"Great hotel for the colosseum."
Clean rooms, friendly staff and superb location. Literally 5 minutes from the Colosseum and the Vatican is about 40 minutes walk the other way. Facilities are basic and breakfast is typical European buffet. Great that there is free wifi in the room. For the price we paid, I would definitely stay again.

"Fab"
Awesome location. Rooms were compact but stylish. Great shower, which matters. Helpful with recommendations for dinner, reservations for the Vatican and transfers. Afternoon tea was a pleasant calm at the end of a day's sightseeing.

"My memorable 65th birthday celebration"
My wife and I booked the Michaelangelo as it is located close to the Vatican. When we arrived , we could not believe how close it was. We could see the Basilica from the balcony of our room. The Hotel is of a very high standard and had just been refurbished. Our room was superb with all the amenities of a top 4 star hotel. We had breakfast included in our booking, which set us up for the day. We chose this Hotel for Mike's 65th birthday and we were not disappointed. We visited the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica, using the skip the line City Sightseeing Company, which meant we did not have to queue. We also managed to get free tickets for the Wednesday audience with the Pope together with the many thousands, and we were able to get a close view of the Pope.We also visited the Collesium and Forum, The Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The Hotel is close to many restaurants and we celebrated the 65th birthday at the Goose Restaurant and had a superb meal with great service. Thank you Michaelangelo and Roma. Jan and Mike

"Excellent stay"
My wife and I stayed here recently for a four night city break. The hotel is a traditionally family run hotel in an excellent location. The important metro system is just outside the front door and therefore is an important feature for anyone staying. Our welcome was warm and friendly and the staff keen to ensure we had a warm reception. We were taken to our room which was lovely and clean and very comfortable. During our stay, the staff were only too happy to help with any query, whether it be a day trip booking, arranging a car or, for us, arranging easier access and shorter journeys as my wife is pregnant. the breakfasts are amazing and offer both cooked and cold breakfasts based on the continent. Please please consider this hotel as a wonderful chance to encounter good Roman hospitality.

Nice place to stay, clean, roomy. A ways away from the city center (but within 40 minutes, walking) - but quiet area. Neighborhood felt safe. Staff was very helpful.
