“Convenient for airport travel”
We were able to check in early after arriving on an early morning flight to Rome. We had requested a non-smoking room, however getting an early check-in outweighed waiting for a non-smoking room hours later. We could hardly tell the room was a smoking room! The rooms are much smaller than compared to rooms in the US, but it was clean, and all we needed for an overnight before heading to Tuscany. A charge for taking the shuttle from the airport to the hotel did get added to our bill, again, different than courtesy shuttles in the US. We used the concierge and ended up hiring a car service to meet friends for dinner downtown in Rome. It was the best money spent compared to the taxi we took to return! We also used the same hotel before leaving to return to the states. I would recommend this hotel, but if you've never been to Italy, be prepared that NOTHING happens fast, so plan ahead if you expect a quick check-in, or need to speak to someone at the desk in a hurry.
“A great place for staying at the Airport”
We only spent a single night at this hotel after flying into Fiumicino (Rome) prior to flying out again the next morning for Malta. However, we had a fantastic dinner at the hotel restaurant, the room was clean, roomy (for Europe), and the staff were very helpful. The hotel shuttle back to the Terminal (6 Euros per person) was great. The only issue we had was trying to find where the Hotel shuttle picked up at the airport, so we gave up and took a taxi which also had a little trouble finding the hotel. But, overall a really great place to stay if you need an inexpensive and great hotel at this airport.
“close to airport, good restaurant and bar”
Had a difficult time in finding the car rental return.............not the fault of the hotel. The staff was very nice and actually went out of their way to pick us up at airport after returning the car. The room itself was handicap accessible whcih we didn't need, but after the harrowing experince of driving the rental car to the airport, we opted not to ask for another room. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who needs to be close to the airport.............................driving in Rome is a nightmare.
“Not impressed”
No hot water in the morning. Resturant was probably the worst in Europe. There were eight of us and 6 had horrible meals. The Chef should be fired.
“Okay-- nothing spectactular.”
Staff was a bit surly. Didn't really seem interrested in assisting guests. Okay for a one night easy access to airport hotel.
“GOOD STOP BEFORE FLYING TO STATES”
NICE HOTEL, WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN
“a lot of money for nothing”
given the neighborhood of the hotel, the high cost of eating at the hotel and the lack of anything at all close to the hotel I would have rather stayed in Rome and made the easy commute to the airport in the early morning hours... and I am not a morning person. but if you don't care about food and neighborhood and you want a clean, generic american-feeling hotel, this would be ok. but be warned, everything will cost you extra at this hotel. everything.
“Not Impressed”
Of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy this was the most unfriendly! Every other hotel staff was most helpful and welcoming. We felt very uncomfortable at this hotel and would not return on our next trip to Italy.
“Bad choice for airport hotel”
We had a 7AM international flight, decided to stay at the airport. Hotel difficult to find and shuttle service was not available so early ( for a fee ) so we were pretty disappointed. The bed and pillows were rock hard, didn't sleep a wink. Never again!
“Not really a good option”
Overpriced, only worth it if you happen to leave from Fiumicino the next day. We had water leaking in our room, we notified the manager and they did absolutely nothing to fix it. The restaurant is very overpriced for what you get. Lastly, we had the experience to do the check out with an extremely rude employee. I would not go back to this hotel, and would not recommend it.
