Hidden and quaint. Coolest tiny elevator ever! Very quiet. HUGE towels! Great shower. Very clean. Will be back someday I hope.

Good value hotel
Good hotel, within a short walk from the Vatican and metros. Transfer from airport dropped us 10 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants close by and shopping. Disappointed with the breakfast. Couple of rolls with a croissant and cheeses and jams available along with tea and coffee and yoghurts. If you like that then its adequate but its not for me. My only criticism as the hotel was generally very good. On arrival there is a button for you to gain access to the building so look for this on the right hand side of the entrance. You need to do this every time you access the building but there is always someone there to let you in. Hope this helps

This was an okay place to stay. There are no windows, and there is no outside signage that it's a hotel. The lobby is oddly tucked in a building that isn't very inviting. It's dim and cold.

It was an average hotel. It was a last minute booking so it was what we thought it would me. It was clean and it was not noisy at all. The staff was nice. The eating area was small even though we didn’t eat there. The room was sparse but the bed was comfortable.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location.
Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms. Nice beds and nice linen. Dark, quiet and nice air con for sleeping. Lovely little Italian breakfast. Our room was modern and looked stylish. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Very helpful reception staff. We would definitely stay again and the location is perfect for the Vatican and a Metro nearby with nice surrounding restaurants. 5 Star review from us. Thank you

They sent us to another property which is not even a hotel there is no customer service. We went back to Catone for breakfasts which should have called snacks only and the staff is so rude. Never come back again.

We were left disappointed by this hotel. It was a strange setup in that you had to walk through the reception office every time to go to your room as it is managed 24/7. The staff was kind; however, upon checking in, we were told to enjoy the breakfast and given times to come downstairs. It was made to seem complementary. Only to find out it was not and I was charged for it despite its extreme lack of substance and quality (rolls and coffee). My credit card info was also all written down despite them having it on the computer, which was also unnerving. The entire hotel was far more budget-esque than expected. At times we felt a bit unsafe and our room ran very hot. Overall, we will not be back nor recommend it.

On arrival there was no kettle in the room, had to wait till the next day for them to replace it. There was no light on one side of the bed as it had been torn out, and a piece of Sellotape was placed on the wall, so my husband had to use his torch from the phone to read at night, the stainless steel waste paper bin was rusty and the duvet was just squashed in the wardrobe. The television channels are only in Italian. Should you want to use it don’t pay for breakfast it’s only two small rolls and a croissant and you get far more for your money arouind the corner. there was no table with which you could use for make up or getting ready and no mirror apart from the one on the stand where you put the suitcases. There was no comfortable seat to sit in just a dining room chair. Make sure that you do not pay in advance before you get there and see the state of the room and services as their conditions are that no refunds are allowed once paidin advance. unfortunately I was ill one night and vomited in the bathroom sink which was then blocked. Plumber said he would come but he did not appear and we filled the kettle and rinsed our cups in the bidet. Around 6.40 pm they offered us another room by which time we had decided to go home. There are plenty more hotels in Rome for the same or less cost - Avoid this one.

Great location
Room was clean, as described. Only thing that takes a point off for my room is the windows were way up high like they were on another floor. So you feel like you’re in a box but it was very clean, service was great and beds were comfy so would definitely stay again/recommend. Location was amazing - less that 10 mins walk to the vatican

The entrance was very inconvenient since you needed to ring the street door to get into a kind of patio shared by other business and residents and then get into the entrance of the hotel. The only thing that was great was the bed. It was comfy and relaxing as soon as you came into the room. However, there was no air-con so it was like a sauna when you walked into the room. Everytime we opened the windows we would have a view of the neighbours apartments as well as a pigeons nest right outside our window. We had the pigeons flying into our room. It was not pleasant. The WiFi in the rooms are shocking as well. Doesn’t work at all. I booked for a breakfast all included with the hotel but then got told I didn’t book for the breakfast after I already paid for everything. Also the maid done a very good job on cleaning the room, however it would be nice to have fresh towels.

The hotel is actually on a couple floors in an apartment building located on a quiet poorly lit block but within very close proximity to the Vatican Museum and the Metro station. The hotel staff was pleasant. The hotel room was not cleaned well and had musky odor. Toiletries except for soap was present in the bathroom. The television had less than a handful of channels that could be viewed due to poor reception/connectivity.

Location is excellent, metro few minutes walk from hotel, few minutes from Vatican, loads of shops and restaurant around, room was clean and modern. We were staying 4 minutes so met few receptionist, i have to say every single one was very helpful, accommodation and restaurant staff also very polite and help. Will be definitely staying here again on our return to Rome

The staff was friendly at the desk and as you walk through the hallways it's looks very nice and well kept. Then you get to your room, first there's random switches on the wall if pressed will make alarms go off and you here this all night as everyone else in their rooms accidentally pressed it. But the worst part is there is mold everywhere in the room!!!! Mold around the AC filter, massive mold around the ceiling, mold is the shower. The walls were all scuffed up and gross, and the room just smelt weird. Stay far away from this place!!!!!

Good for shorter trips
The staff was great and the rooms were adequate. The walls were a little dirty and they didn't restock the mini fridge at all during our stay. I'd recommend for a one or two night stay given the great price and location, though.

Not a very safe feeling neighborhood. This "hotel" is in an apartment building and shares a lobby. Not well labeled entrance buzzer leaves you stranded outside in this sketchy neighborhood where we got ripped off by our cab driver. The room was not very clean. Super small bathroom and the shower leaked all over the floor.

Dear, we are aware of the Guest hiding behind the Anonymous, and we really are dismay of all the situation. First because this complaint about the smoke comes at almost 1 am in the morning, exactly 12 hours after taking the room with an early check-in (free) , and it also comes being conscious of the fact that at that time of the night all rooms are taken and no miracles can be done. Your reservation was for just one night.What were you aiming to exactly? We can imagine what you were up to, but we'll let our future Guests guess it. You do not need to work in Hospitality to know the basic rules of simple and civil living to understand some things. We really try to help and try to give our best to offer you solutions and great experiences, but at least we demand fairness. Best regards
