Great hotel, convinient location, walking distance to the city center, friendly staff and more. Provide a buffet breakfast every morning, bar open daily, outside pool, and bicycles.We were very satisfied. 😀❤

The hotel was way better than our expectation, polite staff - manager, admin , kitchen staff as well as house keeping , very helpful.Location is excellent, 100 meters to the beautiful beach , easily accessible via foot or bicycle that hotel provided for free!! Reasonable and nice restaurants around and ferry links close by . Peaceful and not crowded ( we went first week April ) Overall excellent stay and would love to go back there again - big thanks to hotel Ambassador 🙏🙏

Riva Ambassador Hotel Review 2019
ovely family holiday spent here, great facilities for all ages and great value for money. Hotel did various evening offers, activities for younger children and had plenty of bikes so could get out and see the area. Short walk to the lake and good sized pool with shallow pool for younger ones to relax next to at end of day. Staff were very friendly and helpful in booking local activities and requests in the apt.

Riva del Garda is beautifully located at the top of the lake. There is endless opportunities for active vacationers, but Riva is also an relaxing spot to enjoy the scenery and green parts along the water. The Ambassador Suite Hotel was a very pleasant part of our vacation. Interesting rooms with outdoor patios, extremely helpful staff and Aplus breakfasts to start each day. Three nights weren't enough !

Lake Weekend.
Hotel was in a great area of Riva Del Garda just a few hundred meters from bars and nightlife and less than a mile from the downtown. The Hotel is a few blocks off the Lake, but the area was great and Hotel had many bikes to use to get around town. Breakfast was Ok, normal European breakfast. Bar and Front Desk Employees were all great. Room would have been great if the A/C worked better but overall a good stay during a busy weekend on the Lake.

Still a lovely hotel - perfect for children
Wonderful hotel. Stayed there before and just returned. The staff are very accommodating, the hotel has great facilities and is very well geared towards entertaining children. It's clean and has everything you could ask for .... and more! Breakfast is a wonderful selection of all sorts from breads, pastries, fresh pancakes to hot food, buffet, fruit and cereals. They serve snacks so you don't have to eat out every night. The kitchenette facility was handy for putting together a quick lunch for my children. The Manager is very friendly - he even remembered us from a previous time when we had to wake him up at 3am after flight delays on the way out meant we missed our connection! Only negative is the distance from some of the airports which is nothing to do with the hotel. If flying from Milan give yourself at least 4 hours to drive to the airport. The town (Lake Garda) is very busy and it takes forever to get to the bottom of the lake and head towards dual carriage ways. We'll definitely be going back there again for another wonderful stay. Can't wait!

Good family-friendly hotel
We stayed here 4 nights at the end of May 2017, extending by an extra night as we wanted to spend more time at the lake. The Ambassador Hotel was good. Rooms were quite large and comfortable. Having a kitchen was helpful. The staff were friendly, although reception process needed a bit of of improvement as had to return to ask for the kitchen and safe keys. Also we were not informed that bike hire was included in our room price, which we did not find out until the last day. A problem with a door was resolved fairly quickly. It is a bit out of town in a hotel area, but quiet. However, it has a very good pool and could not get our son out of the hot tub when he wasn't playing on the hotel's Playstation. They also have sand pit and great football pitch, volleyball pitch, trampoline and ping ping table. Breakfast choice was good.

Excellent for kids
Just returned from here. Staff really friendly and speak good English. Lots to entertain the children and good location - only 10-15 mins walk to town centre (3 mins by car). Room was ample and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely recommend. Two staff stood out - Rosie in the bar and Ariella who runs the children's club. Well done for making it such a lovely stay.

Had a really enjoyable stay at the Ambassador, everything was upto our expectations. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Rosie who worked in the bar and made our evenings very special. She has a very good way with people and I think she is very good at making everyone feel welcome and attends to your every need. The pool and grounds were kept very well. Our son loved the pool and the bouncy castle, football pitch and other kids amenities. The breakfast was great and the bar snacks were handy if you wanted a quick lunch. The location was excellent and it was just a quick stroll away from the lakeside. We especially enjoyed taking the bikes for the trip to the old town and surrounding villages. Perhaps some more smaller bikes could be purchased as we often found it hard to get one for our seven year old but thats only a small point . We definitely will return to Riva Del Garda and the Ambassador next year !

Excellent Suite-Hotel and good location
I spent a week in this Hotel with my family (wife, 3 yrs son and 4 months baby). I enjoyed the stay and the hotel staff did their best to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I took a Suite B&B and I admit that I was quite surprised by the big surface. Two big rooms, a kitchen and bathroom and a big balcony !!! The hotel is not in the centrer of Riva but I prefer not because I saw that in the center their was only old hotels that looks not appropriate for a family. The Ambassador has also a swimming pool and a jacuzzy for free :) The breakfast buffet was good, the services are generous and the area calm. Honesty, I kept a good souvenir and I won't hesitate to advice it for my friends. Special thanks to the charming young hostess which did her best to satisfy our requests (tourism advises, printing, ...etc) and for her permanent smile ;)

Hyvät huoneet. Upeat parvekkeet (meillä oli huono sää, mutta voin kuvitella miten kivoja ovat helteellä). Aamiainen riittävä, lettukone on kaikkien suosikki. Kävelyetäisyydellä nähtävyyksistä. Rauhallinen ja hiljainen alue joten hyvä nukkua. Ravintola tarjoaa illallisen mutta vain tiettynä aikana ja tiettyä ruokaa, mutta se on maukasta. Lähellä on toki mitä vaan ravintoloita. Suosittelen tätä hotellia, jos hinta pitää vastata laatua.

Crowded but free rental bikes.
Pool was crowded and lots of loud kids. Almost impossible to find a available sunbed. Plus for free rental bikes. Should not be allowed to have toys and mattresses in the pool.

Rantaan lyhyt kävelymatka, mutta hotellilla myös oma uima-allas, jota ei useimmissa rantahotelleissa ole. Ravintoloita ja kauppoja kävelymatkan päässä. gut gelegen, schöne Zimmer
ruhiges Hotel mit genügend Parkmöglichkeiten und Fahrräder zur freien Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind schön und im guten Zustand. Das Schrankbett welches wir in unserem Deluxe Doppel Zimmer leider hatten war nicht sehr bequem. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und entspricht einem 3 Sterne Haus. Das Frühstück kann man so servieren es ist aber auf keinen Fall 15 Euro wert, und entspricht in keinster Weise der Beschreibung auf der Hotel Webseite. Das man den Tisch auf der Terrasse selber eindecken muss ist eher speziell.

Monolocale con cucina annessa molto funzionale; molto pulito e spazioso. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa a circa 1 km dal centro, raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata sul lungo lago
