Almost perfect.Posted 21/10/2013
Pros: Clean rooms, professional staff.
Location: Rifle gap falls and fish hatchery are wonderful, and the road above the hatchery is well worth taking through a narrow canyon with the creek.
We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The facilities were also well cared for. Our only complaint was the breakfast. The breakfast was hot but the morning we were there they served bagles topped with a bit of scrambled egg and a lot of cheese with bacon bits. It had been sitting too long and the food was cool at best. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. All else was great.

I would go back just to sleep in the bed.Posted 14/10/2013
Pros: What was not to like? It was awsome.
Cons: Just my original encouter witht he night audit on shift.
Location: We did not explore Rifle but by the Hampton there were several food places, a starbucks, gas station and it was close to the I-70.
I originally tried to book in Glenwood but the rooms showed no availablilty on line, but once I was there I found availabilty everywhere. My party was delayed from Denver so I waited in Glenwood and once I found out they were not arriving for 4 more hours I called to try and cancel my room in Rifle and get one in Glenwood. The night audit that answered was rude and said I had reserved two rooms with king sized beds and I said no I could not cancel and she was hesitant to not charge me for both. However, when we arrived around midnight the night audit on the shift was extremely nice and the room was beautiful and the bed was really comfy. Compared to the Antlers where we stayed the next night in Glenwood, we both wished we had gone back to Rifle and stayed at the Hampten Inn. Although the Anlers was closer to the hot springs we did not ejoy our stay there nearly as much.

Great management and staffPosted 24/09/2013
Location: 20 minutes from Glenwood Springs, CO and 30 minutes from Grand Junction, CO. The town of Rifle has many historical sites and museum and waterfalls.
The management and staff were more than accommodating. I stayed here while on vacation, but my job has me staying at many different hotels in many different parts of the country and this hotel is leaps and bounds above most of the hotels I have stayed in. Very clean and well managed site.

Awesome hotel in RiflePosted 12/09/2013
Pros: The bathroom, room, and beds were clean.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Glenwood Springs is not too far from this hotel. Surprisingly, there were A LOT of restaurants nearby.
We wanted to go to Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs in Colorado on Saturday. We got to the hotel Friday night after a long drive from Denver. The beds, room, and shower were very clean. This hotel fit perfectly both in location and cleanness. Very satisfied customer!

Compares to MarriottPosted 04/09/2013
Really nice place to rest your head. It's close to Rifle Falls (real waterfalls), less than 30 mins to Glenwood Springs, nice quiet room. Decent breakfast. Can nab snacks for hiking at the buffet. Lots of eateries nearby and a Walmart in town for all those little things you forgot to pack. Away from the hustle and bustle for sure. I really liked the top floor facing east. The view of the mtns was nice.

A comfortable stop-off en route to the west.Posted 02/09/2013
Very comfortable, not a hugely exciting location but very convenient for the I-70 and easy to drive up into the mountains from there. A nice swimming pool.
