"Traveling from Valencia to Barcelona we decided two nights on the Montserrat mountain would be an adventure. It was. Pere did an excellent job in making us feel as guests. Take advice - park in the parking lot and don't go down any unknown streets. Confirm eating options as many restaurants were closed. The entire town is very friendly and an easy walk to the train for the monastery. Children school is close so you will hear them before 9:00 AM. Thank you."

"While the villa is historic and has a lovely pool, it is in need of electrical repair, painting, deep cleaning (including the moldy, smelly wine cellar which affects the whole house) and functioning air conditioners for the sweltering hot month of July. Also, be aware that this is a town home with no garage, located on a narrow town street, with limited street parking. If you are lucky enough to find a parking, you will have to run out and pay a meter during your stay or risk getting several...

"We loved our stay in this beautiful castle hotel. The public areas are amazing and the views very lovely. We paid a cheaper rate so the bedroom was simpler than in some of the photos but very comfortable. We loved the dining room and breakfast was fantastic. you need to have a car to travel around as there is not much in the local town though some nice shops and cafes."
